I've been binging so many hair dye videos bc I want copper hair and I loved how yours came out. You look so gorgeous!
I've done this a few times, and I LOVE it. For the newcomers:
Ion permanent hair color from Sally's Beauty Supply! Btw, I've seen no significant difference in whether you get creme or liquids or both :)
7RC Medium Copper Blonde Permanent Creme Hair Color
8RC Light Copper Blonde Permanent Liquid Hair Color
6R Dark Red Blonde Permanent Creme Hair Color
Make sure you get the correct developer for your hair type, gloves, an applicator brush, a decent sized bowl, and prepare to get red dye on things like the cupboards and floor (there's a few stains on my bathroom door too). I suggest a color booster like Absolute Perfection Booster mixed into your bowl as well. All of your ingredients will be mixed into one bowl, then applied to your hair. Do your roots last. I also put Vaseline on my skin surrounding my hair, and on my neck and arms, cause it kinda gets all over. Also, this will STINK and give you a headache like she discusses, so be sure to open a window or something. Good luck! :)
If half my head is lightened should I lighten the rest before applying this mixture or just do it without finishing the lightening?

Omg I needed this. I have natural light to medium brown hair. A balayage at the bottom with 2-3 inches of virgin hair at my scalp. I feel like if yours turned out this amazing at home mine might actually have a chance 🤣 thank youuuu
Honestly the hardest part was getting the back of my head covered LOL. Other than that it’s pretty easy you got this 🫶🏼🫶🏼🤞🏼

Could you tell me exactly how you mixed all the colours and the developer. I’m not a hairdresser so have no clue. But I’ve tried to get my hair this colour for a while from different salons and no either forward. So planning on ordering what you used. Thanks x
you mix them to with equal parts developer, usually 20 vol. there’s instructions on each box

It should! If your hair is virgin and you use a developer like i did, it should lift your hair and deposit the color :)

Did you have your hair colored before this? If so how long ago? I did box dye in April and want to go copper soon.
in the video she says yes! her hair is colored. I did mine with non-colored hair first, and it activated fast. I did it again, now colored hair, and it activated slower. I'd say wait a little longer if your hair has been colored! Just beware of your roots, and choose the right developer based on your hair.

You can use a lower volume! So 10 or 20 instead of 30

I got my hair dyed brown with blonde on the under layers on Saturday at the hairdressers. I didn’t realise straight away but it had turned green 😭 might end up going red soon
I think it turned out absolutely beautiful I mix two different colors but I use vegan hair dye so I don't mess my hair up you have to leave it on a bit longer but I am almost 50 next year so I have gray to keep it in like five more minutes longer but it is so beautiful you did a great job

i was light blond before (natural hair) and i guess she used a non permanent colour so im exited how long the color will stay, since i want to go blond before christmas again haha. But now for Fall its PERFECT, looks so good!
Yessss semi/ non permanent is definitely the way to go, much much easier to get out when you want it out!! I’m glad you’re loving it!!
My hairdresser went in with semi permanent brown dye in my dirty blonde hair a year ago and it’s still not gone.

You wouldn’t. Color doesn’t lift color so you need to strip the dark color first
