Such a great Dharma talk on Je Tsongkhapa. Thank you for sharing such teachings. We get to learn so, so, much.
It's not like one doesn't see the world, its pleasures, and the enticements - but all of that is just a cage. It beautiful, but its all temporal, which keeps on rotating and rotating without stop. People talk of 'happiness' but don't really understand where and how true happiness is generated - most just think of 'happiness' in terms of ego[personal]. Happiness - no, rather true contentment and peace ['happiness', like other emotions is also temporal] comes from helping others through the Dharma; enabling them to help themselves and others for the sake of all.
There is so much time we end up wasting even when time is always running out. And it is, the countdown starts at birth, does it not?
And its like the great truth is always present in front of us, just waiting patiently - in our every choice, our every decision just to be seen or heard...even felt. And you do feel it - some briefly in glimpses of clarity and others all the time. But are we courageous enough to pursue it? Enough to fight with yourself, deal with the obstacles around you without generating too much negative karma.
Rinpoche's life story and actions are thus incredible. Truly.
I save up what I can so when I buy statues I dedicate them to those who I hope can benefit from the offerings. Needless to say, His Eminence is among them.

I love to make offerings although I have been lazy and only been making water offerings on my altar. I love Rinpoche's style of making Indian offerings of rice, milk, yoghurt, dhal and so forth on Indian stainless steel round plates and bowls.
