I used this music when to of my players' characters fought over a moral disagreement. The rogue started to see good in the villain, and the paladin being the moral anchor of the group attempted to persuade his friend to leave behind a path of darkness. Upon refusing...the paladin swore to show him the light if it meant bashing the sense into him with the hilt of his blade. Long story short the rogue got laid out by the paladin and he came to his senses afterwards. But heres the long version if you're interested! The rogue during the course of the fight attempted to demoralize the paladin, pointing out his insecurities, failures, and what he could've to save those he let down. The paladin took this critique to heart, and responded by disecting the rogue's morals, calling him out for what he's done for the sake of power, wealth, and the trust of others. By the time the rogue fell to his knees, it was not a blade that met his throat, but the helping hand of this brother-in-arms. He took his hand, and drove his dagger through his ribs. The paladin reeled back and fell back onto his hands, clutching the wound. He stood, his gaze meeting the smug smile of his friend, the paladin flipped his sword and gripped it by the blade and smited the rogue. He was struck in the chest and was sent flying out of their makeshift arena, burnt and bloodied by the strike. It was only then the fog lifted from his mind, the smite's holy properties banishing the nefarious force from his body. Once more, giving him one last chance the paladin reached his hand down to his bloodied friend, and he took it. He scoured his garments for his blade, only to find it shattered and red hot from the force of the paladin's attack. And together, with their differences settled...they begged the cleric to heal them.

@@glibchubik4090 Yes they are. Serious moments like these are few and far between. They usually joke around and don’t take it to serious but I love them for it :)
Suppose the Paladin started the fight with all spell slots and the Rogue had no allies so didn't have reliable sneak attack damage. Rogues can't win a duel due to lower AC/HP and need to have advantage. Especially vs a Nova Striker.

As a cleric player, accurate ending. If I have to spend my healing spells on my teammates beating each other up and we got a big fight afterwards, big bruh moment
It's so hard to express just how much I love your work. Every single piece seems to be just so well thought of. It's good for situations that are in the title, but also never limited to just that. I can definitely use this music for a tense duel, just like I could for a more intense, final momentum combat, if with less epicness but still plenty tension. Great work!
my two players, a dragonborn and an elf, fought against giant hungry wolves in a Nordic forest with this music. it was epic!!!

Just had this playing while me & my party fought a fire giant in their smitty within a volcano. Made things so much more epic.
Taking on a smith in his own forge might be more dangerous than taking on a dragon in its lair.
@@rayanderson5797 Fun thing, it was a dream sequence, and the fire giant was one of the party members recalling his past. The adventurers fighting him was controlled by the rest of the party. He fucking slayed us...

Finally found this while looking for music for a 1v1 gladiatorial style match for my upcoming session
time to use this as some final boss music in my campaign
Tbh I feel like I like DM just so I play this as many times as I want and make everyone listen
Tweak a couple things, and this turns into a crazy intense large-scale battle scene. It's like they took a normal epic-battle-music mix and made more space between all the instruments. There's holes but its the right kind of holes to fit the solo battle vibe. It kinda reminds me of Christopher Larkin, especially those string/choir stabs on some of the downbeats.

So... I have three players and there characters.
Mezor - a really warm and smart wizard from quiet village, who is trying to hold on on his humanity and his normal life. He is neutral in all his decisions he will never choose "his decision" He always listening to his comrades.
Aiele - crazy elf, sorcerer. Nobody knows what is happening in his head, he always have his opinion, and his opinion is the only opinion, your opinion? Huh... He is not talking to worms (not in that situation)
Elagis - sneaky rogue, if you want to fight him with the knife, forget about it. His wild list to the money is UNEXPLAINED. He have his decisions, but show him a golden crown, and you will become a red water on the ground.
My Final chapter is called "Gray blade" A powerful sword of the ancient paladin, king want this thing in his castle.
So... The next scene:
The king reward... Is it really important?
(The situation is getting really messy)

Running a duo campaign here and, after some investigation, my new player finally found out the criminal behind the murders. I chose this as the main theme of the battle, since it was mostly a mono a mono and the first real fight for her.
Well, two-handed longsword + crit + smite. That guy didn't last as expected.

SOOO i am ruling detective\faction intigue campaign about Luskan, pirate capital of north and i added law about magic, that everyone who wants to use magic in this city must get license of some sort, there is tiers of license which represent level of your power and opportunities in city , whatever. So our Sorcerer, this kind of middle-age crisis Halfling who didnt get very far in his career and now works as second-rate mercenary went to get his license. Exam starts, Zone of truth was cast, magic candles float in air, director of Academy starts asking questions about political opinions, special skills and charms, experience in killing people with magic, etc. And in the middle of this exam special squad of quards fucking kick of front door, use special chalk to draw more powerful Zone of truth and start interrogate this sorcerer. That was the moment when i changed playlist (from "interrogation" to this "duel" one). It was awesome, halfling tried to "twist tongue" give vague answers, duration of special chalk was not so long so guards had to to ask percise questions. At last question Sorcerer just answered with one word "Crows". This "Judge-Guard", leader of operation stood up. "He's clean" and went out immediately. ("Crows" are secret half criminal mercenary group, whose help this "judge guard" once asked. Someday they'll meet again on other terms, but for now he let party be free). Couple minutes later Sorcerer finished license exam and left.

I am just wondering while I was scrolling I was looking for a initiative music . The one that will boil the blood of the players while they are ready for a fight and the dm get things up . I know that would not be even 5 or maybe 3 min music but I do know guys , I always thing an initiative music is important , lIke a player in a football match playing his first match , if he starts good he might go good afterwards.
