quick question?? what is the average amount of bales that a roll of net will wrap? what is the amount of time it takes to wrap a bale? and what does a good roll of wrap cost?
+onelonleyfarmer Well it all depends on the size of your bale, the amount of wraps, and the length of your net wrap. Let's go with a 4x5' baler (since that's the one in the video), wrapping it 3 times (2.5 -3 times is typical), and using a 9,840' roll of Net Wrap. Amount of Bales out of a roll of Net Wrap: 205 +/- Length of time to wrap a Bale: 4-5 seconds A 9,840' roll of 48" Tamanet Net Wrap = $230/roll - If you buy a skid full it is $220/ roll November 16, 2015
I am getting a banging noise from the roller with the bale slicers. Could it need a adjustment on the drag link or do i need to look in the roller segments?
We have had problems with bale start since the beginning when in short hay or very dry brittle hay. I have heard that the new RB is better at bale starts. Look forward to seeing one work. Thanks
Any videos on an easy way to sharpen the net knives??

thanks April :)
I bake a lot of haylage bales that are 4x4.5 bales and I'm getting around 240 bales on a 13,200 ft roll of net.

Does New Holland still offer the BR 7060? We have a BR 740 and are thinking of trading this spring.

The "BR" Series has been updated with new models in the new "RB" series with a few improvements as seen in this video.

Try reducing the PTO speed till the core gets started... That works for me.
Does new holland have drop and go or do you have to disengage and reengage the pto after every bale?
They have an automatic detach clutch, so you leave the PTO running during bale ejection.
Every time I look, I get even more confused, does this baler do 5x6 bales?
Glenn Tate 4x5 hence the name 450. the 560 model does 5x6 bales
i know it is kinda off topic but do anyone know a good website to stream new series online ?
@Issac Jonas i watch on Flixzone. Just google for it =)
@Beau Landon Yup, been watching on flixzone for since march myself :D
@Beau Landon thank you, I went there and it seems to work :D I really appreciate it!
I hate net wrap! I don't own a baler with it. I bought some net wrapped hay, and will never buy it again or own a baler with it.!!
