That's funny that a full size car with all the creature comforts can pretty much wipe out every factory built performance car or truck, except for a few!
LOL, hahahahaha, funny huh??? Around 800 horsepower at the rear wheels and the Linelock was holding all four wheels locked. Shut up with your weak ass.
This is my friend Tom. His linelock was having issues but I assure you this car is RADICAL!!! It puts almost 800RWHP to the wheels and has A/C, sunroof, leather.... It will flatten your eyeballs.
I dont know about anybody else but that was unexpected. I thought wow this car dies in staging and wont even do a good burn out. Then the lights drop and bam she is gone. Sweet ride and way to put the power down.
They don't call the marauder the "luxury land missile" for nothing the 4.6 v8 DOHC that was in the marauder didn't just push it, It launched it. I'd bet that a stock grand marquis GS from the same year as the s-10 opposing it would kick its ass. O and by the way the grand marquis weighs 4500 pounds.
you guys dont know what you are talking about.the Lincoln town car never has had a 4.6 DOHC like the marauder! the twin cam 4,6 in the Marauder was specific to that car and no other for years 03-04. In 1990 the town car had a 302 windsor- and from 1991 to 1997 had the 4,6 SOHC good for 210 hp (stock).
@@musclecarmason That was a Teksid block though. A good builder for power and better than the Avaitor-sourced one in the Marauder. If I remember correctly.
that has to be the stupidest thing i've ever hard ..... your comparing a badass dohc 4.6 straight out of a svt mustang (minus the supercharger but otherwise identical) to a gutless 4.3 v6 and trust me, i had one. It was dead. A supercharged marauder motor (with the factory supercharger) will KILL a typhoon
youtubes full of high school students sitting behind their computers in their parents living rooms with the desk top dyno going but when it's all said and done, a 4.3 isnt a performance motor, a dohc 4.6 v8 is. You can make anything fast sure but you have a hell of a lot of catching up to do just to come even close to a marauder.
High school? Haha, I'm 22, and working at Texas chassis, but whatever man, I agree that a stock 4.3, versus a DOHC 4.6 would lose, but my point was modded.
@MrCrownviclxsport so that dont mean anything they both run simular times in the 1/4 mile stock. and thats with the SS coming out a long time before the marauder.
Everything on the internet, is not true, I know for a fact, that my 1994 Lincoln Town car, had a DOHC, if you want proof, call Napa auto parts, Advanced Auto, O'Riley's, and ask them, for something regarding the motor, and one of the questions they will ask if whether it's a DOHC, or a SOHC.
I know this is a few years late but.,Your facts are wrong dude! and I wouldn't believe everything the boys at O"riley's say! the 91-97 town cars had the (SOHC) 4.6 V8 that put out 210 hp with dual exhaust and 190 hp with the single pipe!-they NEVER, I Repeat Never had the Quad Cam 4.6 modular V8 as in the 03-04 marauder. If you want more proof Wikipedia the 91-97 town cars and it lists the motors in chronological order! But you believe what you want. But thats the facts jack!
I have an 07 MGM. No chip exists. You need a Marty Tune. Contact Marty Ochs at MOs SpeedShop. He is LEDGENDARY for tuning Panthers. He will program a custom tune based on what you want out of the car and send it to you on an SCT tuner. Just plug it into your OBD2 port under dash and follow instructions. Better throttle response, firmer shifts, better shift points, and a LOT more get up and go. This is MUST HAVE for any Vic, MGM, or Towncar. MGMs are factory tuned for the way older people drive, soft shifts, cushy slow throttle response. A Marty tune will squeak every bit of performance possible out of the bone stock drive train and PCM. Minor mods like a p71 airbox and MAF, Mustang or P71 throttle body, 373 or 410 rear end gears and a good dual exhaust with H pipe will make it even better. Tell Marty what mods you have or plan, he will tune specifically to enhance them. Btw, your car already has a true cold air intake. Dont fall for the aftermarket junk. They suck hot air from the engine bay. A ford intake from a p71 is an improvement allowing more airflow and still remaining a true cold air intake. One of the only performance differences a police Interceptor has over an MGM beside a larger alternator and dual exhaust, rear end gearing, and of course the tune to enhance it. There is no magic cop chip.
your talking about a 4.3 v6 in a quarter ton truck designed for a daily driver vs a high performance dohc v8 with tons of upgrades, superchargers and guys who specialize on just these motors not to mention its a performance car vs a quarter ton truck meant to get groceries and do light work like hauling dirtbikes. It's a no comparison on what makes more sense to mod and what you can get the most out of although with enough money you could do anything.
The DOHC that came out in the Marauders, and Towncars were not meant for performance, they were made to push a car that weighs almost 2 tons. versus the QUARTER ton 4.3 in an S-10
There's not a Lincoln Town Car in the solar system that came with a 4.6 Modular Four Cam. The Continental, Mark VIII, and Aviator came with some variants.
@neveen11 Get a stock S-10 turbo charge it, and get a marauder, super charge it, and see who wins, the S-10, everytime. (The only reason I didn't say the Typhoon, or the Syclone, is because that's GMC, and people wouldn't realize that Chevrolet makes GMC)
didn't Marauders only come in black? Did he paint it? or is just a Grand Marquis with alot of custom work he's calling Marauder, which seems to be a trend these days.
and tha guy drivin the marauder cant drive...but lets be real, obviously had more done to the ford than the impala did...do tha same to both then we got a race
Definitely fast for its size. Long live the Panther.
Is panther the name of that death trap chassis?
georgephifer7713 Well you clearly know nothing about cars 🤡

I actually met the guy who owns this Marauder. My God, you should see under the hood!!!!!
CMWilliamS55 if it’s a NA car then I’ll
Definitely be impressed you see way too many boosted Marauders out nowadays.
My money's with Ford completely on thus one!!....Mercury will school that chevy's f*ckin a*s!! Ford powered!!💪💪💪💪
Imagine how fast it would go if the dude knew how to drive 😂😂
ford should have used this motor in more applications but they put it in aviators and continentals and like one mustang..da fuk
Damn that Marauder quick ! I got a 96 Impala I want a Marauder next both are some seriously sexxxy cars !!!
What are the specs on the MM, that was wicked fast!!
I dont know about anybody else but that was unexpected. I thought wow this car dies in staging and wont even do a good burn out. Then the lights drop and bam she is gone. Sweet ride and way to put the power down.

Love it so much do more!!! I'm eting food right now!

s55rauder I think some folks were thinking of the 4.6 Intech 4V used in the Mark VIII.
Mach 1 Mustang also had it in 03-04.

incredible time for the poor burnout, i know there must have been something wrong

@wildkyler95 an s10? a sonoma? WHY?? that truck is a joke. its like something you drive in highschool until you buy a real truck.
Nice run Tom! :)

no they're not google it they're the same as the crown vic/grand marquis motors a mark viii is dohc thats it
PROVE IT CHEVY BOY. That Baby V6 has Nothing on the MARAUDER. And its a bloody truck, it cant hook for shit....or handle the curves.
He didn't jump the gun the car didn't move till it hit green.
Lol, I drive Lincoln, I know all about the 4.6, and then some, I also drive two firebirds, that would eat a 4.6, and they're stock.
I've just saw the video now.. what's the mods
The point of all this shit was that a S-10 with a turbo, and a marauder supercharged, the S-10 would win.
well the marauder naturally aspirated is already more powerful, then if you put a supercharger on it the s-10 has no chance any way you put it.
Man I miss this track! Nice run!
there isn't an s-10 out there that's fast enough to outrun how its reputation as a weak sauce pos.
regardless of what you're saying, the marauder motor is a svt cobra motor without a blower on it putting out 300 hp
yeah because your 4.6 is a lincoln 4.6 that's in a big heavy lincoln.
FORD POWER!
Weak ass burnout
When you can run a 10.4 @ 135 MPH, who gives a 💩 about lame burnouts??!!
How much hp has this Marauder?
I think it made 740 at the wheels.

In 2003 they came in black and also made 328 blue ones. In 2004 they added silver and red and still made black ones too.
