Le Mont-Saint-Michel Norman: Mont Saint Miché, English: Saint Michael's Mount) is a tidal island and mainland commune in Normandy, France.
The island lies approximately one kilometre (0.6 miles) off the country's north-western coast, at the mouth of the Couesnon River near Avranches and is 7 hectares (17 acres) in area. The mainland part of the commune is 393 hectares (971 acres) in area so that the total surface of the commune is 400 hectares (988 acres). As of 2017, the island has a population of 30.
Mont Saint-Michel and its bay are on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.It is visited by more than 3 million people each year. Over 60 buildings within the commune are protected in France as monuments historiques....(wikipedia)

Fascinating, marvelous, magical, mysterious ... with a sound track to match. An absolutely amazing video and a joy to watch. I was at Mont Saint Michel two weeks ago, so for me it felt like going back and seeing a whole lot more from a completely different perspective.

Visited this place in May 1984. 1 month before the 40th anniversary of the D-Day invasion in Normandy. Beautiful location, very peaceful. Then toured the graveyards for the fallen soldiers of that time. Very somber and sad to see so many graves there.

Seems like a kingdom with King’s seat at top castle snd down below colonies of workers n all craftsmen n soldiers n market area and entire area is surrounded by Impeccable Walls…..and land there seems to quite fertile….every where its snow but inside the walls its lush green
