Plus the community response to releases is really fun. No other community like it. Skateboarding is obviously top priority and why I’m here but that community is often times too cool to get excited about anything. Sb has magic to it. I wanna find that magic in other things too. Like… we just got the Emerica Marc Johnson… skaters are not going to be as excited as the sb community and that blows my mind. Where is the childlike wonder in skateboarding? We need it

this is what I think of the Jordan 4. Typically when we get shoes we will get one 11.5 (that's my size) and I never want to short the raffle or take anyones chance away to hit on the shoes fairly. so if there is an 11.5 that I really want and we only have one pair I enter the raffle like everyone else and I don't think I have ever hit on one of my own raffles. the Jordan 4 I have already told my regulars that if there is only one 11.5 in our allocation there will be no 11.5 in our raffle because that one is mine! haha

Orange label dunks with no brown box with the orange swosh on it was such a let down…. However the quality & gum bottom make it a must have even at resell! These remind me a lot of the Marty mc’flys minus the cool blue bottom thoose have! Thx for another great review! ❤️ I like the grey lace on them , people who lace swap make the shoe pop more. Finally I was able to get a pair of these around $40-$60 above Retail after fees on Goat. I grew up as a kid wearing dunk and dunk SBs. But health issues cut my skateboarding short when I was in my 20s. Now 44 years old just the nostalgia of owning a couple pairs is possible currently with the market being at a low. I'm not in this to re sell just want to have some cool dunk sbs to wear. Also got a pair of the Adobe SB dunks And they are Amazing. Thanks for the awesome content 👟👟👟

If you’re skating them get the dunks. They will skate better. If you’re just gonna rock em…. The 4s are something new and different to sb so that’s what I would do. Although… they’re harder to wear with everything. That grey goes with everything

I did a poll on the community channel. Everyone always votes true to size. I’ve been feeling like some of the dunks are fitting much more comfy but I’m always so weary of telling people to size up or down. I think stick to your usual and you won’t be disappointed
When you mention the loose lace stay flaps at the bottom. Is the idea that you don't lace all the way thru and leave the flaps exposed so that your laces stay somewhat protected??? Not sure if I'm making sense with that question
I scored my personal 7.5 yesterday! So stoked until I got them out the box and saw that the outsole was glued wonky literal gaps between the cupsole and shoes upper, now watching this video and I see the same situation on the pair reviewed, unfortunately QC issues like this will have me go ahead and sell them, a true bummer bc these are nice affff
I didn’t really see any major defects with these. I’ll watch the vid again. QC is def all over the place but there is a bigger problem. Supply chain issues are rampant in every market. All footwear companies have cut production due to factory closures etc. soooo I think that has led to lower QC standards. They let more through to the consumer because if they didn’t there would be even less pairs in the market. It’s a shame but we haven’t seen anything that would make a shoe unwearable and I still have not seen a pair of dunks straight up fall apart which is more than I can say for a ton of brands. I literally haven’t seen one have a sole separate from a dunk. I’ll ask around to see if anyone has had that. Maybe I can find some folks that have but nobody has been vocal about it to me yet.
honestly feel like the relaunch might be for the Janoskis, mostly because its been almost 3 years since the Shanes first released and there hasnt been any info on a potential Shane 2. Still would want to see a Prod 1 comeback even if it was treated where they released em once in a while. thought maybe the Trainer could come back to the SB line since Nike sportswear been releasing a bunch of em lately and I kinda liked the Polar collab

my local orange label store told me they usually only get 1-2 pairs of size 13s… i’ll never be able to hit on retail on any SBs. shame because these are super clean

Because I really want the black one of these but I don’t have any store close to me that I can get them from. Can I get them from the Nike app is basically what I’m asking.
Theoretically that means the wouldn’t be available on any app or webstore but Nike has been breaking that policy a bit lately. But the original idea behind the shoe is that it supports brick and mortar
We’re not supposed to discuss numbers but typically a size run for most shops unless they’re one of the big dogs. I’d say roughly 10 pairs is a solid average and 20 pairs is close to the high side

@@DavidBluetile Yes I have two shops somewhat close to me one is an orange label dealer. The orange label dealer has stores across the state while the other shop doesn’t they just carry the regular sb line and have one store.
@@DavidBluetile Ventured to my local skate shop Saturday morning as they posted they had them. They sold out while I was in line and I missed the chance for both the black and white gum dunks. Hopefully I have better luck on future drops I was trying to get a pair for personal wear. There’s more dunks coming out this year I look forward to.
Does these Dunks have the Air Zoom sole? They do not say so on the inside. Is that in order to maintain the Orange Label branding, or because the Air Zoom technology just is not there?

aww man I appreciate it. we get that a lot. during covid we were allowed to sell online because most peoples doors were locked. During that time we did have some online raffles but I mean.... the odds of hitting in a national raffle are way stacked against you. When we had it open to the whole country we had 150k+ entires for a size run of shoes..... even when we narrowed it down to SC only we had over 10K entries.... but when you have to actually walk in the door the entries go down to 1500 or less. That's the long explanation but even aside from that we just aren't authorized as a nike dealer to sell online.
@@DavidBluetile I completely get it. I know the size runs are very low per shop, like 60 pairs at most so like 5-10 pairs per size. I understand the odds are completely against me but I’ve won a lot of nationwide raffles so I thank my lucky stars for that. Copdate has been good to me with 6 W’s and places like no comply ATX and pawnshop have shown a lot of love too. Can’t win if you don’t enter.
I’m not really sure on the creasing. I didn’t get a personal pair of these but also I typically skate in all of my shoes at some point so I don’t even think about creases. I could maybe do a poll on the community channel about that if ya like

yes yes! its crazy that skateboarding has influenced that in so many other shoes. Like it used to be that every skate brand sent extra laces.... yesterday I got some Jordan 1 highs and they came with extra laces.... why???? nobody is popping their Jordan laces! haha

that is a solid question that I do not know the answer to. it kinda looks like suede or like a towel type material but it isn't. it feels like the mesh material that tongues are normally made of but more of a suede texture to it.
I think the lobster is an OG cut? some of the lobsters are OG and some have the newer dunk features. so I think the wolf grey has the fat tongue and new build but the lobster is OG. there may be some fit differences but I dont think they'll fit as tight as like the gnar hunters did
Yes. This will not be restocking like the black/white or white/black are restocking. This one released twice and are not currently scheduled to release again
well ours sold out this weekend. There is a dealer locator on Nikesb.com so you can find your closest SB dealer but it won't necessarily single it out to orange label dealers I don't think. so you'll have to find the shops closest to you and call to ask if they're orange label dealers. I don't think these will sell online.

These are not scheduled for another release. These aren’t like the black or white ones. They grey had two drops scheduled. I’ve seen the release schedule from now until summer 2024 and there are no wolf grey on those schedules. Of course Nike could be like jk tee hee shock drop on snkrs but I think that is highly unlikely

Yes exactly. It isn’t full proof but yeah you just skip the outer flap holes. It def helps but it’s not 100% effective.

@@DavidBluetile Ventured to my local skate shop Saturday morning as they posted they had them. They sold out while I was in line and I missed the chance for both the black and white gum dunks. Hopefully I have better luck on future drops I was trying to get a pair for personal wear. There’s more dunks coming out this year I look forward to.

Does these Dunks have the Air Zoom sole? They do not say so on the inside. Is that in order to maintain the Orange Label branding, or because the Air Zoom technology just is not there?
All sb dunks have the air zoom heel pod. It’s in the insole

aww man I appreciate it. we get that a lot. during covid we were allowed to sell online because most peoples doors were locked. During that time we did have some online raffles but I mean.... the odds of hitting in a national raffle are way stacked against you. When we had it open to the whole country we had 150k+ entires for a size run of shoes..... even when we narrowed it down to SC only we had over 10K entries.... but when you have to actually walk in the door the entries go down to 1500 or less. That's the long explanation but even aside from that we just aren't authorized as a nike dealer to sell online.
@@DavidBluetile I completely get it. I know the size runs are very low per shop, like 60 pairs at most so like 5-10 pairs per size. I understand the odds are completely against me but I’ve won a lot of nationwide raffles so I thank my lucky stars for that. Copdate has been good to me with 6 W’s and places like no comply ATX and pawnshop have shown a lot of love too. Can’t win if you don’t enter.

I’m not really sure on the creasing. I didn’t get a personal pair of these but also I typically skate in all of my shoes at some point so I don’t even think about creases. I could maybe do a poll on the community channel about that if ya like

you might be true.... typically I want my lace to match the tongue but white feels right for these.

What material is the tongue ? Looks like leather ?
that is a solid question that I do not know the answer to. it kinda looks like suede or like a towel type material but it isn't. it feels like the mesh material that tongues are normally made of but more of a suede texture to it.
They are so clean as fuck! I wish i could have them. All three with the gum sole are fire. My favourite is still the black white one. (:
That black white is just the most skate-able hands down. I think the grey ones are pretty much the same materials though.

I can’t remember how the lobsters fit but it should be pretty close.

I think the lobster is an OG cut? some of the lobsters are OG and some have the newer dunk features. so I think the wolf grey has the fat tongue and new build but the lobster is OG. there may be some fit differences but I dont think they'll fit as tight as like the gnar hunters did

well ours sold out this weekend. There is a dealer locator on Nikesb.com so you can find your closest SB dealer but it won't necessarily single it out to orange label dealers I don't think. so you'll have to find the shops closest to you and call to ask if they're orange label dealers. I don't think these will sell online.

These are not scheduled for another release. These aren’t like the black or white ones. They grey had two drops scheduled. I’ve seen the release schedule from now until summer 2024 and there are no wolf grey on those schedules. Of course Nike could be like jk tee hee shock drop on snkrs but I think that is highly unlikely
