Ive noticed that some newer rulers are made with a different type of acrylic. I bought one and took it straight back after trying to cut with it. I’ll also stick with my Omigrid.
Absolutely, all those ruler are great, but the prices here in Ontario is crazy along with other quilting products.😫 Thanks for sharing your favourites 👍❤️😊
I would love a video on how to hold rulers and using the rotary cutter. i love your videos and your explanations are so sense able. also love your Michigan accent.
I love my Omnigrid rulers, the only one I have an issue with is the 6 X 23 inch Omnigrip. They flipped the numbers, so I have to flip the ruler to use the 23 inch part.
For beginners, I would suggest a 12 1/2 inch square and a 6 x 24 inch ruler. I also absolutely love my 20 1/2 inch square for squaring up a quilt but I don't travel with it. A 6 1/2 inch square is also handy for travelling.
Thanks Nancy for this video. I own several of these rulers but I have such a hard time reading the measurements. The yellow markings seem to block the lines. Any tips on how to read the lines? Thanks again
Hi Toni, i find the yellow markings are what i like best as they surround the black mark - the yellow shows on dark fabrics and the black on the light - Nancy

I'm with you, Omnigrip rulers are the best...in my opinion. Thank you for sharing.

My favourite ruler in Omnigrid 6” x12” but I have at least one of most of them!

That 15 inch is also a pretty handy size for making T-shirt quilts.
