Hated seeing The Warriors stay old rather than shift young and take some risks, but it is what it is and in this case i hope Dunleavy Jr is right and Jordan Poole helps lead The Wizards to the postseason. I like the core of what they have there with Jones at the pg spot, Poole at sg, their choice of rookie Coulibaly or Advija at sf, Kuz at pf, and Gafford at c. Of course on paper this clearly looks more like a 11-14 seed type rather than 1-10 playoffs/play in type team but that's why they play the games right? Youngish teams can occasionally sneak up and surprise people. Wizards fans seem down on Coach Unseld Jr so that's a bit unfortunate. I don't know much about him other than he hasn't really had strong teams to coach in his brief career. As for The Warriors, i'm not sure why when the strongest teams in the conference are all going to be mostly youngish, we decided to go old for one last hurrah? Normally it doesn't work out well for the older team living off the reputation of the dynasty. Let's watch and see what happens! Gonna be exciting! It was best that Poole moved on. He was becoming a cancer. If Curry wanted him there he would have stayed. His =/- rating was a huge drop from his +324 the season prior. His 3.1 turnovers a game was his worst in his 4 years. His defense has a lot to be desired. This will be a big test for JP to see how much of the "pool party" was due to the teammates around him. I think he is a good player but not worth the money. I hope he proves me wrong.
