    im still listening to 80s songs cuz of the beauty and uniqueness of their music.. The Smiths, The Cure, Tears for Fears, Depeche Mode, Spandau Ballet, DuranDuran, Echo & the Bunnymen, New Order, OMD, Sisters of Mercy, Violent Femmes, Wild Swans, China Crisis, Pale Fountains, the Care, Guadalcanal Diary, EBTG, the Associates, Belouis Some, Blue Zoo, Blue Nile…. so forth and so on. their music is simply amazing!

      ... love the more "obscure" references you mentioned... taking that theme further, groups like Fiction Factory, Chameleons, Aztec Camera, Japan, Talk Talk, Heaven 17, Lotus Eaters, Icicle Works, Dream Academy, Blancmange, Strange Advance, Propaganda, Icehouse etc. ... all worthy of deeper listens. I've missed MANY more, but it was a wonderfully RICH time in quality music we all thought would last forever, but passed by FAR too quickly!

    Hello Lori, my name is gregorio I'm 45 years old. Huge New 🌊 fan. So glad I ran into your you tube channel. Very interesting and informative behind the scenes stories of some of my favorite bands. To this day I still pick up vinyl rare 12inch singles & imports. Late 80s early 90s were blessed time's of my youth. Was fortunate enough to get to see some of this artist in concert. From Depeche mode (violater) Morrissey (kill uncle) pet shop boys. New order. Omd /Bryan ferry/ David sylvian( Japan) lene loviche/ the waitresses/ boingo/ gene luvs Jezebel/ Nina Hagen/ Thomas Dolby/Kraft werk/ camouflage/ red flag/ anything box/ china crisis/ the the/ the fixx/ the stranglers/ alpaville/ Hubert Kahn/ ministry/ echo and the bunny men./Lloyd Cole/kate Bush/ ice House/ split enz/ love & rockets/ shiekback (the big chill) the primitives/ gang of four/ style council/ altered images/ OMG! So many talented artist at the time. ✌️

    The interview was interesting, but she is just a little annoying. She talks down to her audience and is hyper judgmental about everything

      Knowledgeable in music, people, arts and history... but also a typical artsy "Virtue Supremacist" which translates into being judgmental of others. It's a part of the left wing industry.
