I'm kind of totally stunned here. At the current BP to USD conversion rate this build clocks in at under $2500. That's patently surreal. This certainly does not account for your own labor (and pain...) but it shows that everybody with your passion, skills, and motivation can turn a rather modest investment into something of great VALUE. As to value, you not created a one of a kind custom cafe racer but beyond that became an inspiration to the nearly 10k subscribers of your channel. Well done. You're the real deal, be proud of yourself. To think that this is your first build, your beginner bike - unbelievable! I draw my hat, bow deeply - and hope more builds keep coming.
Once again a comment that warms my heart and reassures me with what i am doing. Thank you for the support and kind words! I just want to be open and helpful with you guys whilst making it enjoyable to watch. There will be more builds as soon as funds allow! Much love Woody!
@@jishh 2 years later and I'm watching this now I hope to be able to find a 1980s 1990s cb125 and build my own cafe racer just like yours my budget would be 5k aud or less my only problem is I don't own even 1/4 of the tools you do
It's a one off, so definitely worth the cost. If you didn't add the £300 thumb brake it would be substantially cheaper . If you were to add labour costs it would be at least the same again. It looks great, I'm having problems with my Reg/Rec on my Honda CB400SF Flat tracker and am now going down the MOSFET regulator route. 👍☘🍺
Congrats Bro! Why? well, I just wanted to be the first to congratulate you for 10,000 subs before it happens because it's not long now. A Sh#T load of hard work has gone into your channel and I'm super excited for you dude :) Much love from across the pond in Australia
22 to go brother :) I keep coming back to your channel to see how if you hit the 10k im seriously more excited than i should be but its freeking exciting 😮
My CB125 scrambler is half-ish built and I started the same time as you but haven’t touched it for nearly a year. So far I’ve only spent around £500 on it but still need to get the engine running, all the electrics in and all the cosmetic stuff. Nice job on the bike it looks great.
killing the game , congrats on the 10K subs. I don't have my own build yet but still I really appreciate the videos and community you guys are creating. Your building style especially - I can really identify with the "kind rejection" to convention. doing it your way is much respect. hope to see more of ur craft
Hey Jish, i have whatched your videos from day 1 to today, and oh my man, you have gone far. congrats on the bike, i just loved how it looks and i am looking forward for when i can buy my own bike. Thanks for the content, hope you are fine, have a great day!
Spot on mate. We are currently transforming a ybr 125 custom into a cafe and your vids have helped loads with how we progress. Using ebay we have managed to make a £150 budget. Keep up the broadcasts. #LIKED & SUBBED
that is the up and down side of building and modifying your own bike, financially, you spend more than you plan yes, but you get to do it over time instead of in one lump some. And to come out with something that sharp and good looking, well worth it. I think you did a great job for as little as you actually spent, grats on the awesome build. Cant wait to see what is next.
I wanna build one such cafe racer from my old bike can i please know the dimensions and measurements please. Although the customisation was most sickest of all I’ve ever seen
Look at it this way, I brought a brand new motorbike and it has depreciated by the amount yours cost to build in the time you built yours. So to me spend that much on a one off is always worth it and you have the satisfaction that you built it yourself. Hope you get the wiring sorted👍
Hi Jish. I know some people would say '' you could have baught a brand new chineze piece of shit for that much'', but look what you got , a classic piece of Honda's history. In many peoples oppinion one of there best bikes ever, which you have made your owne .well done mate ;-)
Hello! Wow! Nice job! I can see that you love it, so it's now priceless! ***How much does it cost the insurance per year? Do you know someone who can build and sell that type of motorcycles? Thank you!!
Oh, I meant for my GS550. I'll still be looking for the GSXR parts, but I'll also look for other modern sport bike front ends. I'll likely be fabricating a triple tree, and most likely ordering a custom built stem. I just meant now I don't feel like I have to pay $900+ for the parts.
The background in here looks incredible and well thought out! I'm not a huge fan of the thumb brake setup but I never thought it'd be that expensive lol
change the cheap pod filter take it of and look to see near the end cap and usually there mesh/fabric missing just hold it up to some light and look through you don't want debris getting into your engine i would recommend a K&N pod filter by the way love the bike hopefully i will get my 125 cafe racer finished soon just had my engine mounts sorted due to engine swap i went from a single cylinder to a inline twin cb125te engine and also getting the frame powder coated soon check out my Instagram i will be uploading update pics : yt_shiftzy
I really enoyed your videos and it's an amazing amount of work you accomplished for really nice and clean result. I like your bike very much and I know what it takes to complete a build like this and to shoot and edit all those videos. I just feel like your costs estimation isn't really fair because if anybody without the relations and friends you've got would try to do the same if would be at least double . I'm talking about the welding, machining, painting, wiring, upholestering and laser etching job that you didn't includes in that video. I knoww you didn't pid for it but it would have been interesting to estimate it. And also all the parts you bought which didn't fit, you didn't use or you broke it or changed it after a 2nd thought. For me it's included in the costs of this build because that's the mistakes you have to go through to get it done, especially on a 1st build. So just to say that your videos are cool and really nice to watch a lot of great infos and the bike is finally done and looks great but your costs estimation is not what it would really be if ones would do the same. Can't wait to see your new project done. Keep rocking dude.
This is a fair comment. I know not everyone has access to friends who can do these things But I do say this is what it cost me and its only the things that was used on the bike. I dread to think what the total cost would be and ill be honest I don't think I could actually total it up! This video was purely to show what it cost me as I had so many people asking. Thanks for the comment man! always appreciate people taking the time to write comments like this. Thanks!
I really need to get back to my 1970s CB 250 build, been 3 years since I have touched it due to unforeseen circumstances, take a look at ‘shed built cafe racer’ on UA-cam and let me know what you think 👍🏻
Finish?, good!!, now move on and do something else!! or you are going to keep annoying us with more and more vids of this small displacement-budget....bike
I think ill keep annoying you for a bit longer ✌ ill happily accept a big cheque or a pot of gold from the end of the rainbow that comes out your arse to pay for another build 😘

Never seen someone call the Great British Pound Sterling BP - that's petrol, innit?

I only had a basic tool kit when i bought the bike :) i just bought what i needed as i went along ✌️
zero dislikes! I love you're bike m8. it's my dream to have honda CB 125cc. you are a lucky man to have it
great looking bike, what did you need to add/change to the bike to use the Power-Sonic 6v 4.5ah AGM Lead Acid Rechargeable Battery?
It's a one off, so definitely worth the cost. If you didn't add the £300 thumb brake it would be substantially cheaper . If you were to add labour costs it would be at least the same again. Indeed! and this is including the bike itself too! Thanks buddy! ill have it back on the road in no time!

Jish Yeah I will do. Going to save up a bit as I’ve just bought a new Scout Paramotor so not a lot of spending money for toys haha.

Thank you buddy! Working on a 10k giveaway video to show my appreciation for you guys! ❤
Hi, quick question if you don't mind.... would you pay £2 to enter a raffle with 1500 tickets available to win a bike like this?
Hey Jish, i have whatched your videos from day 1 to today, and oh my man, you have gone far. congrats on the bike, i just loved how it looks and i am looking forward for when i can buy my own bike. Thanks for the content, hope you are fine, have a great day!

Awesome work Mark! Let me know how you get on :)

How much do you think you can sell it for ?? good video thanks
What’s the brand and model of the helmet your wearing
What forks did you use for the build?

Hope to have it fixed this weekend ready for some motovlog action ✌
I have just looked at all episodes in one evening. just an amazing build . keep it up and i am looking forward to the next build
Wow i bet that took a while! Much respect my dude!

Fully agree! happy my money has gone into this, keeping the history alive!
What bike are those forks off please
Hello! Wow! Nice job! I can see that you love it, so it's now priceless!
***How much does it cost the insurance per year? Do you know someone who can build and sell that type of motorcycles? Thank you!!
Have you thought about put the original wheels painted in black on it? Think it would look ace mate
They are too skinny for the setup i have buddy! id love spoke wheels but they would need to be custom
IV tried to have a look but are your running indicators ?
Or have you emlimated then and doing the old fashion hand signals
Haha 😆 it has indicators ✌
It's F! beautiful, great design, its lovely.. but I still can't find video showing the engine and exhaust sound. Share me the link pls.

Great you are sharing everything with us mate.Hope you hit that 10k soon you deserve it!
Cheers man! happy to share!
Hello i AM from Perú. What size the tire?
I'm very impressed. I don't feel like I need to pay $900 for a GSXR front end now. Thank you for the insight!
I don't think GSXR forks will fit a cb125 frame haha! But thank you :)
Sick video and edit! Price seems very worth it.. good luck with the wiring!
Appreciate it Henry! i feel the price is great for what i have built!
The background in here looks incredible and well thought out! I'm not a huge fan of the thumb brake setup but I never thought it'd be that expensive lol
This is in the corner of my living room and where i do all my editz! thought it would be a nice change to film a video here :)
Jish Gotta say tho..looks so cool with the helmet, the gorillapod and the other props in the background
A melhor cafe racer ♥️

More than its worth 😅 theres more to this bike than just a cb125 cafe racer ✌️
Hey love the channel man! Great build!
You also have some really nicely done videos! What do you use for a camera and editing?

Where I'm from we can get the same bike as a custom scrambler for around 1300usd (Asia btw)
Well worth it man! Thanks for this video, very helpful
With how much i had been asked i thought it was a good informative video to make :)
Good work on the bike so far mate! I've got some major motorcycle content coming to my channel very soon!

I really luv ur customised byk.. one day i really going to buy one of dose byk
Hi, quick question if you don't mind.... would you pay £2 to enter a raffle with 1500 tickets available to win a bike like this?
It's not built from scratch if you already had a base. Tank, engine, frame. It's a modified bike.
His good video as usual don't forget to change the black and silver no plate don't want you to get pulled and cost you a fine
Stephen Granger because its a classic, can it not have a retro plate?
Totally worth it. Id buy one for 3500 pounds if it looked like that!
£1700 is a very good price for a one of custome cafe racer
I think so too man!
