- A quick overview of my fully custom CZ Shadow 2 Orange by Impact Machine and Cajun Gunworks.
Slide: brushed hard chrome finish with milling for optic plate w/ rear sight and milling on rear for race hammer
Frame: brushed hard chrome finish
Trigger: Cajun Pro Trigger package
Anodizing on grips, magwell, base pads, trigger, and mag release are a custom blend done by Caustic Customs

I love that I just got the S2 SAO. Buttery smooth trigger from factory. I want a SRO on it so I’ll have to send it to CGW
No mistakes. I’ve converted my shadow 2 to sao using czc parts.
It's by far my favorite pistol to shoot.
Everything from the function to the aesthetics are absolutely amazing. The thing I don't like now is the absolute beating my credit card might get when CGW finally calls my number. Great choices! Definitely an item to be proud about owning.

I have a TS2 as well but I wish I got another S2 or SP01.

I have a single I can only gun and it’s the best I’ve ever felt as far as trigger. Yours looks even a little better it’s been upgraded. Your gun is awesome. I would love to have one like that doubt I could afford all those modifications though.

I faced a frustrating experience with Cajun Gun Works' $285 upgrade kit. David directly stated that if I couldn't skillfully use a Dremel to remove approximately .0035" from the 1489-T6 disconnector, I shouldn't be working on my Shadow 2. This directness was unwelcomed. In contrast, Eemann Tech’s $80 Ultimate Disconnector provided a hassle-free, drop-in installation and stellar customer service, a refreshing experience from the earlier disappointment.

Why don't you cry on every Cajun Gun Works post on UA-cam? Oh wait, you already are. No one cares about your personal experience and fragile ego. CGW makes great products and have excellent customer service.
I had a similar experience. Eemann parts have been smooth sailing for me but the hammer pins sold by CGW for their race hammers are way too tight of a fit, requiring the customer to compensate for the poor tolerances by hammering it in with specific tools/surface/technique.

I went with CZ S2 OPTICS READY. I am installing CGW SAO Conversion Kit With Trigger , CGW 11# Recoil Spring , CZ Left Side / Oversized Shielded Safety , CGW RMR Footprint Optics Plate , and LOK Veloce Palm Swell Target Grips .
All parts have been ordered and waiting to receive so I can install . CGW did my SP01 SAO Optics Ready. Trigger pull is 1.8#s. Obviously SP01 has FPB so it will never be as clean as S2 but the trigger is still freaking awesome.
Hopefully I'll have all the parts in the next 10 days or so . I'm hoping to have it all done by March 3rd because that's my next Match lol..
After shooting couple S2 SAO and TS2 Orange I'm a believer in CZ lol.
I prefer the CZ over a 2011 due to CZ75 being more durable / reliable.
CGW did all the work on my SP01 because they needed to do OPTICS cut . I'll be doing the SAO Conversion for the S2 . I cannot wait until it's done
Good luck with the install! SP01 is what I should have done. I like the grip just a little better
@@ishootguns I did trigger guard under cut with my SP01 . The SAO SP01 Trigger will never as nice as S2 due to the Firing Pin Block . It's still absolutely phenomenal. You'd have to take out the FPB to get that S2 SAO trigger feel .
I love the SP01 Grip especially with LOK VELOCE Palm Swell Grips but I'm also not a fan of the circle shaped trigger guard on the SP01 . I prefer the more square trigger guard. I have super aggressive grip so that's a preference when it comes to trigger guard.
What’s better in your opinion? Cajun S2 SAO or a factory TS2 orange? Trying to decide which one to get.

Any hiccups with the internal mods? No light strikes etc? Planning on changing the entire spring system on my S2 SA/DA. Light strikes are the only thing I’m concerned about.
This one has been incredible! Completely flawless! No issues for me on anything but I had the pros do it as well so maybe they worked out any links before returning it.

My cz just got to CGW, they are doing the S/A kit, barrel bushing and having the barrel coated in the hard chrome they offer. Is that what was done with yours? I also have the color case vital palm swell grips. Still a work in progress.

Very nice build. Just got an optic ready shadow 2 that’s the standard da/sa. I would not mind getting another in single action only.
This single action is crazy. People double tap the first time they shoot it. Always.

Nope. Not hard to appreciate that blue finish. It's pretty. Whole thing is pretty. Single action is cool, trigger is pretty light though. 1.5lb... Whoa. Brushed or matte chrome is awesome

Why would you buy the Shadow 2 ORANGE if you were going to completely change everything. You would just buy a stock Shadow 2 or SPO1. The orange has so much additional trigger work and features I would never have started with a fully upgraded orange model, but other than the teal and over 4 grand price tag, it's really beautiful 👍
I agree with you completely unfortunately it was all they had available and the SP01 was at peak cost. But this was originally supposed to be an SP01 base.

Did the hard chrome impact the gun performance in any ways such as more/less rubbing? Slippier surface? More/less scratches etc?

No experience with CZ custom, but CGW lifetime warranties their parts, picks up the phone when you call, and beyond helpful and willing to get you set. I think both are priced roughly the same.

This is full custom work. You need to ask Impact Machine if they can replicate it.

I got a TS2 and the trigger is not as good. It's a long story not worth telling but it was supposed to be an SP01 originally 🤷♂️
What mag base pads are you using?
In wich division do you use it?
I don't shoot competition but I think it's not allowed in any division
@@ishootguns probably in trigun only being SA. Carry Optics I’m not sure cause we don’t have USPSA here in Brazil but I think it has to be DA or SF. You could obviously use it in Open division but would be in great disadvantage. Great looking gun, after I saw yours I started thinking to hard chrome my Shadow 2 that my wife uses. Congrats, best looking Shadow 2 I’ve ever seen. I encourage you to race it.
