The Appalachian Trail has a counterpart, the Benton MacKaye Trail, which also begins at Springer Mountain in Georgia. It was my privilege to help build the BMT in Georgia in the 1980;s and early 1990"s. I led the work party which finished the trail in Georgia. I also guided the National Geographic photographer who took pictures for the book "Pathways to Adventure" featuring the BMT. George Owen, Darcy Douglas, Marty Dominy, etc. are all names which will live in my memory. It was the experience of a lifetime.--Tom Reilly

Why did you edit a fart into where they fall in the water?! I've watched the movie like 10 times. I'm sure it's gas free!😂

Challenging hike with zero respect for preparation, planning or nature. 🤔 A lesson in here somewhere. 🤔
