She was worried she’d be overdressed since the groom wore jeans, but I think her dress was a very nice compliment to everything. Not overly formal, but not her everyday look either. Gorgeous and she looked radiant

I agree. Let’s face it, most gowns are not “comfortable”, because you’re usually corseted in. But for the groom to say he was wearing jeans and sneakers because of comfort? That’s just rude, especially when you know you’re bride is going above and beyond to look extra special on the day.

When our niece got married, she wore the beautiful gown and her husband wore *clean* jeans and had to be talked into buying and wearing a new plaid shirt. Naturally he still wore his dirty old trucker hat. 🙄

I OWN two of them. The beige one by Lindy-Bop and I believe I saw my aubergine fit and flare by Michiline Pitt. I love vintage...but I wear those out grocery shopping....

I love seeing the actual wedding at the end. We get a chance to see the dress as it should fit if it needed altering and the bridesmaids too. She’s so pretty and doesn’t know it but at her wedding she looked beautiful. I so wish I was personal friends of Al and Jo. I bet they are tremendous fun xx

Oh I just loved the detailing around the neck/shoulder areas. Just so unique and in tune with her quirky personality. It doesn't matter that the groom was in jeans. The main thing is to be comfortable and happy and to be sharing the day with loved ones 💝
it's a little capelet - removable, so i guess she could wear it to jazz up another dress if she had an evening event to go to. would love great with a black dress, for example, instead of a necklace as the statement piece.

When Jo was lacing her up in the 2nd dress, I knew it was the one. The fabric was her style, and the neckline was totally fabulous. I really like the long length, and it makes her look taller.

He looked fine. There was no holes in the jeans had one of my hubby’s family members come in shorts. His side has few weirdos. Meanwhile my pictures had masks in them too. So that to me ruined pictures over very nice looking jeans.

They made it seem like she was going to show in a wedding dress and he'd be in holey jeans and a Tshirt. He had on almost a whole suit minus the pants, which looked great!

I loved that pretty little cape on the 2nd dress, it was a really different look. I thought she looked great. I also loved the idea of a Rudolph tattoo as an anti bullying symbol.
She looked great and the bridesmaid dresses went right along with the style of hers.

That capelet made her look different from the regular wedding dress, so was still different and herself, but so pretty!
I just love Jo and Al. They have the most loving, non-judgmental hearts. I strive to be like them. The bride chose a very flattering dress, but sort of sorry she cut short bangs for her day. They cut her face off in the wrong way. But hey! I think we've all cut bangs at one time.
And yes, I agree, her groom should have tried a tad harder.
But what made me sad was despite the fact that we can accept and love someone for who they are, both bride and groom had obvious walking problems because of their weight. Maybe that's why he wore athletic shoes. Loved the picture of the full bridal party at the end.

To the groom, can you please explain to me how a pair of dress pants that would fit you be more uncomfortable than jeans? Like pants are pants, mate. You’ve decided on wearing a vest, which could be uncomfortable if you’re overweight and not used to them, but the dress pants was a step too far?? Sometimes straight men baffle me. It’s your wedding and you can’t be arsed to wear something appropriate?

What an absolutely ridiculous comment! They’re items of clothes & they’re absolutely no reflection of how ‘meaningful’ his wedding was to HIM. It doesn’t matter what you’re wearing on your wedding day, so long as you’re marrying the one you love! The fact you think clothing is more important than the vows speaks volumes.
Well, baby, people show they care in different ways, maybe that's not your style, not everybody cares more about the looks than the heart.

In my mind, one’s effort to please another speaks volumes as well. He showed up apparently..….like it was any other day…I guess that was enough for him 🙄

Bull. Saying heartfelt vows, on one’s WEDDING day isn’t “just another day,” as wearing regular jeans and going to the grocery store.
If a bride is putting in the extra effort to look really special and different than usual on their wedding day, the groom should appreciate it and do the same as well for her. 😐

Ooh! When they went to dress her on her wedding day and she was holding that floral tea dress I thought she'd changed her mind! But Al and Jo were right, she would have regretted it. It's so much about confidence and these two ladies instill a sense of self belief into ladies who, only because they don't fit the skinny 'ideal', feel they are less attractive or even 'acceptable'. I love this channel.

How sad that the bride is worried that she’s overdressed for her groom, when he obviously, has very little regard for her feelings and for the impression his lack of proper attire makes. Years from now when the wedding pictures are being looked at, everyone will laugh at the groom’s appearance.

Refusing to dress properly for your own wedding is a sign of immaturity. It’s one thing to have a casual dress code. But being the only one in jeans? Ditch him.

The thing is when it's your own wedding you decide. Your choice is the proper choice. Now you might not want that on your wedding but that's up to you :)
Now I agree with you when it comes to this particular wedding, however
a lot of guys wear jeans to their wedding, many even wear a t-shirt under their jacket. Just like a lot if women don't buy wedding dresses but instead a different white dress or maybe not even white at all.
It might be a cultural difference though, I live in Sweden and it's pretty common here, allthough most people do dress up very much.
However, if the bride is not casual then it looks off if the groom is. At least decide what you want- and do it together through compromise, not like thus dude. In this case he is just plain rude to his bride.
