55 years ago I discovered that a plastic table cloth hung over a line and funnelled into a container collected 1 litre of water over night. most condensation occurs on hot days followed by cold nights. You could crochet these blankets from nylon string pretty fast, because you have large spaces between the threads.

How about sending a balloon cup into the clouds to collect water?

Even some rural areas in developed countries could benefit from this technology.Off-grid homesteaders could use it too.

Water from a fog collection system needs to be tested and managed as any conventional water source would be.

Das Testen sollte das kleinere Problem sein wenn man bedenkt wie viele Menschen von verseuchten Wasser leben müssen

Does anyone know how this water collection system is doing today? Is it still in use?

in times off need people turn to basic animal instincts or ilusional metafisical idealisms, one day, they might learn to be just normal humans.

If you use the water for plants, the plants will catch in time water too and then you dont need nets. It gives a better climate. So use a part of the water for plants, trees, food etc.

No - fog collection won't remove enough fog to make any difference. The system is designed to extract water only.

A commendable effort, but pointless if Ethiopia doesn't have a birth control program.
