      @@cysambrano I put fabric on the spine and when it opens and closes.. it has a large wrinkle at the spine and book ‘crack’. Maybe I didn’t leave a large enough gap ? Thank you again. Dee

      @@thepaperdrawer4651 Make sure the entire piece of fabric has adhesive; and also put the fabric on with the book open only. Could that be it?

      @@TheScrapologist I used glue… which I now see is part of my problem.. the other thing I noticed because I have watched this video many, many times.. I am not leaving enough space between the spine and the cover.. my gap is way too small.. and I try to push the fabric in the space.. so I have made 2 with your help and I am happy with them.. AND on 1.. I did not put enough adhesive on.. but it looks ok….
      Thank you so much for helping me… I really appreciate it…. Dee

    New subbie here. You got me when you showed your burn scars and then your laugh. Made me feel at home. And tape? Yes? Tape? I never taped fabric to a cover in my life. But I'm sure going to give it a go now. Thanks for the fun with the crafting.

    Would I put this on the spine the same way on an album that already has pages in it?

    • @TheScrapologist
      @TheScrapologist  3 роки тому

      Hi, Nikki! You CAN put it on a book that already has pages in it; however, you won't be able to fold it over the top and bottom. Make sense?

    It’s funny... I love making blank albums but decorating the pages are more of a “chore” for me... I have so many beautiful papers, however, and do love how an album looks once it’s completely done!

      Yes, I think we all have a favorite part and one that is not as fun. If you don't like decorating pages, I suggest you look at a flip-through and try to copy it (if it's for your own use). Then it can be fun because you don't have to do all the thinking :)
