- Tara won her first medal at an international championships. After taking 6th place at the olympics in 2021 and battling injuries Tara is finally back to fight for another medal. This year has been so challenging but so rewarding and there was no better way to end the season!

My girl Athing runs tomorrow! I'm so glad she decided to come to Worlds after a very quiet year for her. I'm sure Sydney will bounce back fine next year in whichever even she runs. You know she's going to tear it up after missing Worlds this year.
Congrats again to Tara. Her joy is infectious but her lovely sentiment about Ivana Vuleta's win is truly impressive. I've watched a lot of the Worlds and have seen some sullen-faced second and third place athletes, but not Tara. And how fricking beautiful are Tara's parents and grandmother!
