Ive only kept mbunas about 10 species so far but im a fan of keeping 4-5 colonies and just watch the tank grow with/without drama and always changing up the rockwork and watch the race for tank boss again😂 . But ive always loved the colors of DW Haps thanks for the knowledge .
I’ve been considering one for my tank for a while. Trying to refrain from buying more until I can upgrade my 75 to a much larger tank. Definitely going to eventually add one
I LOVE deep water haps, star saffire and even the blue otter! Very chill fish! And I also feel like they also have a higher level of intelligence than some of the other cichlids but that’s just my opinion lol

Im looking for tank mates for my tank. i have a 125g with 5 EBA 2 bala sharks 4 elliots 2 topaz cichlids. i was thinking about getting 4 red tapajos 4 threadfin hecklii and maybe some rams for the bottom. if you could get back to me that would be great cant wait to hear back

I have a 90 gallon and I was wondering where to put my two power heads..I find that these are a good place like you did in your cichlid aquarium..
I'd do opposite sides with one angled up, one angled down slightly
