What happened to the Youth in Policing Initiative? Peter, I would be grateful to see an article on what our Police Force is doing in our children’s schools with regard to Awareness, Safety & Prevention programs. Thank you for keeping us informed.
@@Lois-AnneJohnsYes. The Police Force used to play an integral role in Educating our Children on the dangers of drugs; programs on Safety & Prevention. With the pervasiveness of drugs, overdoses, dealing & crime - one would think this would be a top priority. I recall a crashed up motor vehicle from drinking & driving in front of High Schools & Police working alongside programs such as M.A.D.D. Before & after photos are a simple powerful visual. Our youth are vulnerable & can be easily pressured & preyed on - especially considering the location of a few schools. We cannot be complacent & let this be our Children’s “new normal”.
@@321tones I have 3 jobs already sir. 1, protecting my family. 2, a paid job to support them & our Social services. 3. I volunteer my time to those most vulnerable to crime. Why would you suggest I become a police officer, if you believe they are so hated? What do you do? Write angry rants & comments on a UA-cam channel you have proven to despise? Try being kind, tolerant & loving. And perhaps show some respect to the officers who repeatedly revive people from overdosing.
@@321tonesYour comments are so full of anger & hate…it is usually an indicator that you loathe yourself, which is sad. This comment is an assumption & generalization. Just silly. Take care mate.

@@CobourgDowntowner I would love to see that too. Also if the kids in school are being taught about the dangers of safe supply.
