I have ALWAYS set the season length to 5 days, not only does it give you more time to finish all the side quests you get every season, but most importantly, it increases how many resources you gather each year. I want an entire town before my character is an old man
I was watching a beginner's tip video last night and the guy was at a camp like in your video . Those are apparently bandit camps and bandits wont spawn until after year 2-3 from how he explained it.
Have hunters get leather, wood people get sticks, workshop makes the better torches, sewing makes the small pouch. Sell them. It’s easy early game money. thousands of coin every couple days.
Hey man! Thanks for all the informative information over the past couple episodes. Definitely a big help when it came to me getting the game on release on PS5! Keep up the good work up man, congrats on your little super family you got during the livestream
Kage you dont need kitchen to make porige yourself since you can make in any of yours houses. Baked goods can be done only in kitchen since it has oven.
This isn't a comment on kages video haven't watched it yet. It's a question for the comment section, I'm playing on xbox so some of yall might not care. There are a ton of reviews for the game to get multi-player. What in the world is another player going to do in this game that your npcs don't?(besides travel with you) 90% of games I've played that have building and multi-player and town management don't allow the other players the opportunity to build in your A.O. and sense your own npcs can make everything anyone else's can it's not like traveling to another players town would benefit you at all.... once you get the proper gear hunting really isn't a big deal either. So a group of hunters just doesn't seem reasonable. The quest are run here talk to someone run back and tell the giver you talked to that person. Don't need help there. Someone please tell me why this game needs multi-player other than people want it cause that isn't a reason to over work the system for a solid single player game like this.
I play on ps, I do think it’s a great game, multiplayer might help sort of help out with tasks like stardew valley, etc, or it could be for a future expansion, and helping in areas where where you might need to take goods here, and do another mission. Maybe a future update will have something like revenge on people that killed his parents
@@Rollinmdma1 I dunno about it still, plus when you try to leave the map it turns you around saying "the valley is my home now" or something close to that. Also even if these things were to be added couldn't a follower npc just be added instead of a whole new system based on the sole purpose of adding you in battle? I'm still not able to think of any good reason to take a solid single player game and make it into a multi-player mess. There's a ton of things that could brake the game easily by turning it multi-player. Get resources, npcs, the number of moving npcs moving about, player distance from the host player (every multi-player game controls that on consol where one player is a dedicated host), secondary players access to the server, etc etc etc. To be honest the more I think about it the more problems I can think of. True I wouldn't have to play it multi-player myself so it wouldn't affect me personally, but a bad multi-player is worse than no multi-player.
this is the furtherest i've ever seen anyone play in medieval dynasty the furthest i've ever seen others play to has been for one cycle of the 4 seasons and that was it they got destracted by other games and now with more having been added to this game they could bring their medieval dynasty series back which theirs were more of a role play aspect so they had a rule set in play if they died they could not load up a quick save they had to make a new character and start a new it was hilarious but watching a full on gameplay is pretty fun too
That doesn't work if you are at max building limit sadly enough. (atleast on xbox anyway.) It wouldn't even give me the opportunity to have a ghost image today when I wanted to upgrade my lvl 1 woodcutter hut. Brought me much sadness.
I'm pretty sure you can kill every animal in the game and the icons will stay on the map. They're just the spawn locations for the animals, not tracking individual live specimens. Also, a couple videos ago you were lamenting the time it took to click +1 on everything in the herbalist hut to see if it was in season. That, and most other UI functions, are made much quicker by using WASD to navigate and Q/E to change tabs.
I recently learned that after you kill all the available animals of a species in an area, it's icon on the map will turn from white to grey to show that there are no more of that animal, in that area, to hunt. They'll respawn after season change and maybe also after reloading. Pretty nifty!
You should unlock compound bow and bronze arrows way better damage and you can make extra compond bows to sell great money maker can 3 shot a Buffalo an one shot a moose to the head
It's weird how this is one of the few games where you don't complain about having to do the story line. Is it that good? Also, I think you're thinking of the dev from The Infected who said they would never do multiplayer.
The story line my take a long time to complete but in the overall number of quest to each story there is only 10 or 15 actually quest for unigosht and alwin (each have 10 or 15 chapters) both are famous for waiting a day or a season to get the next chapter. Which is why it takes so long to finish them.
I cant see how multiplayer will work. If one person wants to work through the night, the other doesn’t. One wants to skip the season, the other doesn’t?
spring and summer months that end in y ticks are liable to cause mountain tick fever in the deer and ruin the meat and the fall and winter months that end in y are rutting ( breeding)season

Kage change you game setting to seasons at 4 days…makes season feel longer but also doesn’t slow progression

If you want to upgrade a building put the level 2 ghost image on top of the previous building and you don’t have to delete anything
