Appreciate the haul, I really like your straight to point video, no faffing around. I have a similar body type to you, so really helps to see these clothes on a normal person! I think some of the dresses would look better if the cut was better but it is Shein so to be expected. I liked the black one, I would get that in more colours if available, I also liked the stripy one and green with white belt. Please do Modanisa, I also like Uniqlo but never brave enough to order because of sizes but my friend swears by it and apparently they have these anti sweat technology clothes! The issue I have with Modanisa is they are made for non curvy people because the armpit area is always awkward! Great video keep it up!

A size up in all of them would’ve fit you really well! I shop a lot from Shein and always check the product measurements underneath, it’s long, but write your measurements down and then use as reference for all the outfits, have always worked for me. Also Shein are amazing with returns, so that’s always comforting
Hello, First time I'm seeing your channel and since you requested some input on the outfits: First off: Yes, It's tough to buy things off the Internet. Personally, I don't usually purchase tops / bottom on-line unless I know the manufacturer and I know how their clothes fit me. I do buy scarves and hand bags off the Internet though. Poshmark is a really nice consignment site and I've gotten Haute Hijab scarves off there. Shukr and Free People too. I know those brands well (and how they fit me) and have been able to find really good deals on Poshmark and even Ebay. Other advantage I have is that I'm handy with a sewing machine. So if I buy something I really love that doesn't fit quite right, I can usually fix that on my own. And that being the case; if I'm going to take the time to tailor something to fit me; I'll opt for stuff made of higher quality fabric. Things that fit well, I tend to wear, tend to hang on to, and they last longer too. So, your Shein picks: 1st dress: - Knit is usually pretty easy to work with and this dress fits you well. It's proportioned well for your torso. The shoulders sit where they are suppose to. The sleeves are the right length and the bodice fits well. Your scarf goes well with this dress too and if have a hand bag and shoes that are the same color as your scarf (or "close enough") that would be a really nice combo. So take note of those fit details when trying on other things and you'll know why they may (or may not) look right. Measuring "the biggest part of you" is useful for knowing if the "smallest part" of the garment will fit. Yet for example; a top with wide shoulders is going to fit a bigger bust better than a smaller bust. And that's why at times larger sizes will fit the waist but not the shoulders. With the exception of maternity clothes; dress makers assume the bust is going to be bigger than the waist. Not everyone is an "hour glass" though. I have the same problem even though I'm like a size 6 or 8. I have a small bust and dresses that fit my waist, are often too big in the bust. So proportion of measurements matter too and manufacturers don't generally cater to multiple proportioned people in the manufacturing of mass produced garments. But women aren't the only ones who have this problem. My son is tall and relatively thin with long arms and legs. So sleeve length and inseams are the issues I have buying clothes for him. 2nd dress: - Here's a good example of a dress design that would fit you the way that it should if it was made out of better material. If the bodice of this dress was made of cotton (instead of a stretchy material) it would fit you the way it should. The shoulders of that dress don't quite fit where they should, because the neck line is too wide for your shoulders. Also, the bunching in the waist is because of the stretchy fabric. If you look at this dress on the model; the widest part of her is her shoulders, that's why it "hangs strait" on her. 3rd dress: - Again shoulders don't quite sit where they should on you. (Probably because is't a V neck.) As per the pleat "drop waist"; that's actually not a bad design detail in that dress. The problem with "gathered waist" dresses on women with thicker middles; is that it adds bulk where "apple shaped" women really don't want it. Yet the pleated drop waist, addresses that issue; yet still gives the option of a full skirt. It's like an altered version of the A-line skirt. A-line skirts and "empire waist" dresses look best on apple shaped women. Again though, the issue with this dress isn't the design, but the fabric it's made out of. If it was lined with a non stretch cotton in the bodice to the drop waist; it would fit you the way it's suppose to. 4th dress: - If when it is sipped up and the shoulders hit you where they are suppose to; than it works for you. Difference here in how stretchy verses non stretchy fabrics (or dress linings) fit. Also, the waist on this one doesn't have as much volume to it as some of the other dresses you tried on. It's more A-line than gathered waist; so it looks better design wise. Now if the pleat sizes got wider on the bottom, than I think this dress would look much more elegant. Also I think if you put a medium width black belt that has a pretty buckle. I'm thinking "Brighton" (manufacturer) belts. Add a black handbag and it'd be a quite the classy outfit. 5th dress: - I think the fabric that it's made out of; it's suppose to resemble a "rough cotton" "peasant dress". But they totally messed up the design. If one wants to do a "rough cotton style peasant dress" with a "drop shoulder"; don't put a puff sleeve on it. And if the goal was a more fitted "rough cotton peasant dress" than they made the bodice (shoulder / armpit) too wide. They also messed up the waist on it. It's just a poorly constructed garment. 6th dress: - From what I can see of this dress; the shoulder and bodice fit you the way they are suppose to. The upper part of the sleeves are a little too tight. This is also a "cotton peasant style" dress. This one proportioned the waist to the bottom of the skirt correctly though. I have a couple of this style "tunic dress" and I've worn bell skirts or wide leg trousers under them. If you like the boho look; that's the dress. (I love boho style.) Not everyone likes that style though. 7th dress: - You are correct, the arms and top are a little tight on you. If it was just a little bit bigger; it would fit you perfectly. (Not too much bigger though. Comfortable roomy but not baggy.) The colors and style are perfect for you. The peach and brown in the dress match your skin tone; and it looks good with the cream scarf. The stripes are also a good width (they aren't too wide and they are't too narrow) and they are vertical. Very few people can pull off horizontal stripes and not look like they are wearing a potato sack! Nice pick. That dress wouldn't work for me; but it looks good on you. 8th dress: - You are correct, it's the way the dress is cut. The shoulders fit you the way they are suppose to, but the armpits aren't wide enough. And not much one can do (even if they are handy with a sewing machine) to fix that; especially if there is a zipper in the back of the dress. 9th dress: - This is a good example of a "peasant dress" that fits correctly if you were to add a button or a hook to the top. The sleeves have a nice balance between the billow and the shoulder. And the shoulder and bodice fits the way it's suppose to. I like the color too. It works well on you. 10th dress: - The colors work well for you; but I agree, the print is a bit big, busy and particularly repetitive. The size of the print and the lack of variety in the pattern doesn't make it look like a high quality print. 11th dress: - This dress was pretty simple and if you wanted to work with it; you'd have to add some colors to make the outfit not "boring". It didn't really do much for you. 12th dress: - Ehhh... Not really sure what to think of that dress. I like the design elements on the arms. Gold does work for you as a color, but not so much that dress. The shoulders don't quite fit you well and the shade of gold being "all gold" with the shiny fabric is a bit too much. Gold top and black skirt; or if it was gold color that was a little more subdued. That dress though just doesn't look very high quality. 13th dress: - The shoulders to armpits fit you the way they are suppose to. Sleeves are a bit long for you; but gathering on the bodice isn't "long enough". (Not far enough down.) Your torso is longer than that proportion of the dress. It looks like it was made to be "empire waist" on a taller woman with a smaller bust. The color is nice for spring and with a happy floral print scarf the color would be cute. So, there's my critique of those Shein dresses. (Hope it was helpful.) Like I said though; it's hard buying stuff off the Internet. A lot of "fast fashion" coming out of China isn't very well made either; and that's a big part of the reason it doesn't fit right. Your not the only one who has that problem, so don't think the problems is somehow "you".

I tried so hard to watch this last night but fell a sleep on lol 😆. From experience and your past Shein experience I would definitely tell you to go a size up then what you regularly order. That way it will be bigger and easier to take in. X
