I am diabetic patient for the last 20 years I used oral medicines. I advice Do not use wheat n bakery items. Take Guava (amrood) or any fruit before breakfast Jao & Bajra roti. 1/2 roti with egg made in Desi ghee. 1 roti with red or white meat in lunch with salad. 1 roti with any sabzi salan soon after maghrib before isha salat. Eliminate all kind oils only Use Desi ghee Coconut oil and mustard oil well refined. Pray five times and live happy life. wuzoo before going bed sleep early n wake up in Fajr time. Thank you

In my experience , frequency of eating during the day is very important. I eat twice a day and walk about 4-5 km a day and the results are amazing. I reversed my diabetes completely and my doctor doesn’t treat me as diabetic patient anymore. My Hba1c dropped to 5.2 and blood pressure is 113/72. My hdl raised to 60 from 28 and triglycerides is 63 which was 170 before. About frequency of eating I would say that our liver release insulin every time we eat so if you eat 6 times your pancreas has to release insulin 6 times but for two meals you give your pancreas good rest because it releases insulin only two times. This way beta cells in pancreas can heal faster.

I learned a lot by watching Dr Najeeb’s videos a legend in medical world and outstanding medical teacher in whole world. I don’t have a medical degree but I do know how every organ of our body functions amazingly. I had two stents and doctors advised me to take blood thinners for the rest of life. Based on my knowledge I never took a single tablet and living Almamdulillah good life. I reduced my weight from 90 kg to 65 kg by following what I learned. My BMI is 24.5. Feel energetic. This get back to nature and nature will make you happy.

U right ,but low carb or keto is very beneficial for some but within 5years 50% patient they to come back on carbs(complex) otherwise they ll be deficit in nutrotion or body cannot handle it. Very few people keep it for long time u say 1% keep sugar in level even after 15years on keto or low carb. Anyway most doctors in ameruca ir eu they are funded by big farm industry.
That is what most doctors don't understand. They suggest eating small frequent meals which keeps their insulin high all the time. I still remember when I had gestational diabetes in my 1st pregnancy in the UK, the hospital midwife and nutritionists asked me what I was eating all day. When I mentioned cake rusk in breakfast they got furious. That was an eye opening moment for me. I learnt a lot because the nutritionists in the UK gave me so much information I did not know before. I stay away from bakery items since, fizzy drinks, white salt, white sugar, canned food etc. A big NO. I have these only one off now. And it has been nearly 13 years. I have no diabetes. I did not have diabetes in other pregnancies. I have 4 kids Maa Shaa Allah. Please use cane or brown sugar, pink Himalayan salt, avoid canned food and fizzy drinks and bakery items .Avoid fresh juices too. Have but little as in 1 glass of orange juice imagine how many oranges were used. I learnt all this from the nutritionists in the UK.
@Zainabidreesdar We eat a lot of wheat roti and rice too in our family including myself. Maida plain flour avoid kre maximum jitna ho. Wo thek nahi. I use basmati and sella rice both. Sometimes I cook sella rice and sometimes basmati. Sella is considered healthier option in rice. In UK we have very goot roti flour. I think this matters too. I have had elderly visitors on different occasions and they in particular mentioned," ye ata bohat acha hay..sahy ata hay ye wala" as they think they don't get this kind of ata backhome easily. One of our visitor owns crop fields in a village too so you can imagine she must have a lot of experience and knowledge.
I have controlled my suger by managing my diet and walk daily about 3 to 4 km on treadmill i also reduced my weight about 10 kg last 6 months i m endeavoring to reduce more weight to bring it under 70 kg my age is 64 and i was diabetic 4 last 10 years and had been using medicine bit now i take no medicn and i m now non diabetic
