Yet elliot saw much more in the rivers prowess: I think that the river is a brown god - sullen, untamed and intractable… His rhythm was present in the nursery bedroom, in the rank ailanthus of the April dooryard, in the smell of grapes on the autumn table, and the evening circle in the winter gaslight. The river is within us, the sea is all about us. PLEASE DO STANDING WAVE
It would be an excellent way to initiate interst with young geographers if they know why a surfer can surfer or a salmon leap - I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT prof... pretty pretty please.
