Looks fun. I've always liked small packable games you can take anywhere (hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, ect). Just another dimension to pass time and engage with people not on electronics.
I like this - very chill. You could easily spin this into a Sport TTRPG game with creating characters and backstories - a little bit like how Marbles in Marble Racing have teams, traditions, and arcs. It also reminds me a bit of a more laid back version of the Kentucky Derby Horseracing Game. Definitely more portable. Appreciate you sharing!
You are welcome. Thank you for watching! I read online that one person labeled each peg to create players that have different effects on the dice roll. You can do a lot with this for sure.
Okay hear me out. What if the defensive player rolls a second pair of dice. The pitcher (defense) rolls and secretly chooses one rolled dice as a “pitch”. Then the batter (offense) rolls. If the rolled dice the pitcher previously chose matches either of the batters rolled dice, it’s a “strike”. If not, the defense has a 2nd chance to “catch” for an out. If the other rolled dice the pitcher still has matches the batters highest rolled dice, it’s an out. May add a little more strategy to it? Haha maybe even after the pitcher rolls and chooses their dice - the batter rolls and then (unless it’s an automatic ground out, etc.) they can choose not to “swing “ based on whether the pitching player is acting smug. Love this game as is though. Classic
There's another version that has more to select from. You take the lowest dice roll and that places you into one category of events, then the higher dice selects in that category only. These are sold all over Etsy and the Chinese sites and are create on a 8x10 thin piece of wood that is laser cut. Some will add you favorite team logo for an extra free. They usual cost is $8-$80 for virtually the same game. The nice thing about the version in the video is it's all self contained.
I stand my lamps about 2 feet from the table and angle them in such a way that the light is being cast at an angle. I also put the lamps directly across from each other to help balance the light distribution.
Just got this game.I love it, but I'm having a little issue here with some of the rules. So if I have a guy on first base and I ground out with the batter.Do I just assume that the guy on first advancing to second is out.Or is the guy on first thrown out

I had this game in 1976. We would play outside on the back door step of Mr. Bevans's 6th grade classroom at Memorial School in Little Ferry Nj .
Thank you for sharing =^)
@@riffleshuffleandrollWe had that game in India

I like the idea of portable and easy to use components like this. Though it seems like there isn't much decision making for this game.
There is not much to it, but the simplicity has a certain charm.

what's your tips for filming a video like this without glare?

I found a copy of this, but instead of using the contents of the box, I use a pair of dice and a baseball scorecard book.
Nice game! Thanks !
