The smallest lead dancer is Sabine le Roc. She was the the dance captain for the production. She is considered the best cancan dance soloist in Paris today.
The lead male dancer in this number is Marco Oranje. Talented and a sweet man.

c'est une vraie chance ! je l'ai vu à l'Opéra pour le nouvel an 1998 , invités mon époux et moi par mon père, soirée de gala.... quel spectacle formidable dans la salle et sur la scène !

The ladies should be wearing black stockings and suspenders ? or to be even more accurate they should`nt be wearing any knickers at all in fact there are clips from a film featuring some ladies dancing the Can Can without any knickers on .......... well worth a closer look for that is how the dance used to be performed in Paris many years ago.
