1:11 and 1:34 are my favorite parts

When I first heard this song as a kid, I wanted to continue it, it felt to short to just end it 3 by 3's (or in this case 4 by 4's, never heard that part as a child) soo.. What the hell, 25 years later lets just do this:
The Antz go marching five by five Hurrah, Hurrah.
The front of the line is where we thrive Hurrah, Hurrah
(hmm'ing)
The Antz go marching six by six Hurrah, Hurrah, HURRAH, HURRAH!
We lose our arms, we'll beat em with kicks Hurrah, Hurrah
(hmm'ing)
The Antz go marching seven by seven Hurrah, Hurrah
Once we win where off to heaven Hurrah, Hurrah
(hmm"ing)
The Antz go marching eight by eight Hurrah, Hurrah
You''ll find no gaps, are form is great Hurrah, Hurrah,
(hmm"ing)
The Antz go marching nine by nine Hurrah, Hurrah. HURRAH, HURRAH!
This is the front, where at the line Hurrah, Hurrah
(hmm'ing)
The Antz go marching Ten by Ten Hurrah, Hurrah
This is the end, lets do it again Hurrah, Hurrah! HURRAH! HURRAH!
(hmm'ing)
(End)
Feel free to sing along if you are bored :P Now....if i can just get john powell to spend a million dollars to compose the song this way....Anyone got a million dollars?
great lyrics
Yesss!! I want listen this version !! Good job dude
1:34 best part
Adonay Rocha Ikr? Love that part. The instrumental part and the "You'll find that there's a million more" fit for some reason. I replay that part a lot.
Those lyrics sound powerful too. They work together and there's more coming. A million more
Adonay Rocha y
Personally, I find 1:11 better.
We Autobots go Marching one by one hurrah hurrah
We beat up Decepticons just for fun hurrah hurrah
feels like a cross between star wars and "when Johnny comes marching home"
The algorithm did not bring you here. It was stuck in your head and you searched for it directly.
0:59 Antz: What, exactly, what does our platoon do? I mean, you know are we going to be serving beverages or.. or processing paper..
Captain of Antz: Platoon has the best assignment of all we're the first to battle
1:22 Antz: Wait a minute, let's not get we're being too hasty here, these guys that should like bruisers, what, what, just, just, how are you figuring on beating them?
Captain of Antz: Superior numbers, kid, overwhelmed their defences "Kill the Queen"
Antz: Hey, fellas, that's you're being a little extreme, I feel, why don't we just try and influence their political process with campaign contributions.
Captain of Antz: I like you, kid, you got the sence of humor...
General: Forward!!!
All: Over the top!!! Forward!!!
Captain of Antz: C'mon, let's kick some termite b@tt! Over the top!!!

It's been nearly an entire decade since I watched this film... watching reviews of it again and listening to the soundtrack and watching different scenes on youtube... I never realized how dark and serious this movie was back then... and of course never realized that it had a score composed by Harry Gregson Williams (the guy who did parts of "The Rock" and CoD4...). I have to go back and watch this film I think :D
The Antz go marching four-by-four. Hurrah! Hurrah!
We all will fight this pointless war. Hurrah! Hurrah!
"The ants go to war" Also the Twin Towers still up behind them.
"Haha, funny bug movie."
(Suddenly becomes Starship Troopers)
I just came here from listening to klendathu drop
That does it, I have to watch this movie, this is one of the better soundtracks I have heard in a while.
This was the first movie I saw and I still love it :)
Heres a way to make people fell old! This movie was made back in 1998, today i post this comment is 2014
So the movie itself is 16y old
As "old" as it is, great movie!
RobertAniFreak God i was 2 yrs old when it came out !This song is still stuck in my head tho X)
-Scared me a bit when i was young-
Kasilyn Stevens What should be scaring you is the giant Termites and that one guy who lost his head "I can't fell my legs... Ohh wait, I can't fell anything!"
Yep, well when i meant "this part scared me" is because the song relates to the ant-termites fight, and that was fking scary when i was a child X)
Kasilyn Stevens RobertAniFreak Still, as old as a movie may be, I don't think I even saw this one until the mid 2000's. Calling a movie old is naive. I mean look at Star Wars A New Hope. That was made a long time ago, but even if you watched it for the first time today, it would still be a great movie!
That one scene from the last of us (I forget which episode) where the bloater makes it’s only appearance while many infected are swarming from a burning house came to mind while listening to this.

I love this version of the song. I'm kinda disappointed they didn't use it in any of the two Ant-Man movies. I hope they do in the 3rd movie.
This song was not made for the Antman movies.
@@Gartneren1234 So what?! That doesn't mean it can't be used for Ant-Man.
And Immigrant song wasn't made for Thor: Ragnarok, but it still fit perfectly, like this would in Ant-Man.
What's the original version of this music?
Because i heard it elsewhere
“Top 10 into battle anime songs”

So scary to think how many parallels are there to the musical film „Hair“ and the current events.
Except that Z survives.

I really loved this song as a child) And the cartoon too, such nostalgia 😊
a childhood classic for me. =)
This song stayed in my head longer than I'm willing to accept. Finally I found it
When I was a child this song would start playing between cartoons on TV and I always waited for this moment when I grew up dad turn on this cartoon for me, now this song I can't get it out of my head 😅
Very good music and movies video
I first watched this at an age that probably was a little young for this. Heck, I barely understood any of it. I just loved the fact that talking ants were on tv. That's probably why my parents weren't too worried about it.
This song always gives me chills
Play this at my funeral with the most epic orchestrated band.
My favorite sent shivers to my spine seriously
@MAXTHEASTARTES The song is based on 'When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again' and 'Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye', so you could look up instrumental versions of those songs.
Not a single insect dared to attack any Ant Colony after this.
Hell yeah
Too bad the small soldiers from epic might give it a chance
Believe it or not the original children’s song this is based on is actually from a old military song
As a young kid in Poland, I thought this was an army song.
It is. The army is fictional but it’s still an army song.
it actually originates from a song sung by Union soldiers in the American civil war
Someone needs to put this to a video of a platoon of soldiers marching
This randomly poped into my head the other day and I couldn't remember what it was from til now.
i saw this with 6 years :D it was an still is so amazing :D
greetings from germany ^^
Of course us Germans would love marching songs! It's in our blood! Blut und Eisen!
It's a ant version of Johnny comes Marching home!

Wow! 😳😲 Sept 2018. It's been exactly 20 years that Antz premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on September 19th 1998.
This is some really complicated soundtrack for a movie about ants
The animation was a bit schetchy but this song makes up for it!

I had this on VHS 📼, my mom got it for me in 1999. I was born in 1992. When I saw 9/11 on tv in 2001. I was 4th grade in school. I recognized the world trade centres as the buildings on this cover. Weird... and sad 😞. Lest we forgot 9/11
At 2:35, the soundtrack should be used for the movie Aliens where the aliens cut the power and ambush the Colonial Marines in a room of red light and when Ripley fights the Alien Queen in the final battle. What do you guys think?

What??? Thats not at all what world war 1 was like. It was calm, agonal, silent and pointless. The scene is based on Starship Troopers, which is a abreally graphic old sci fi war movie where humans fight giant space bugs.
Yeah and no one realized how bad the shit hit the fan until they got there.
@@noneedtoknow07 exactly, up until that point, war was romanticized and the young men thought it would be an adventure more then anything, and with the first world war, those old ideas died out
@@donaldsterling1631 World War 1 was not calm at all, wtf do you mean? Charges across No Man's Loud were chaotic and hectic, and cities were reduced to rubble after days of ear-splitting bombardment. Sheesh.
