2 days ago on a train heading for Frankfurt airport due to arrive 2 hours later than scheduled with only 15 minutes till our Lufthansa flight's baggage drop closed!! Fortunately we'd checked in online the night before. Searching for info on whether we'd be able to make the bag drop within 15 minutes and your video popped up. Without it we might not have noticed the bag drop machines as you leave the station on the right. So incredibly grateful for your video. I've subscribed in case we need your help again ☺️

is it only possible to use the escalator from fernbahnof to T1? is there also a LIFT? I will be carrying 2 huge suitcases with me so i dont think i can go past the barricade at the escalator

Thanks for your comment ✈️😀 I can write in german as you like?! If you do that, you've come to the right area. You just have to go down one floor. It still depends a bit from which country your son started, i.e. whether he arrives in Schengen or non-Schengen.

Nur der Abflug. Aber neben der Rolltreppe wo du runterkommst geht direkt eine Rolltreppe runter zum Ankunftsbereich

Well the check-in area is in Hall B and you need a maximum of 10 minutes to get to the Counters from Eurowings Discovery.
