Then 2 burglars tried to break into my house, and I had to set a lot of booby traps to stop them. Most of those traps would've been fatal under normal circumstances, but fortunately one of the burglars was Joe Pesci so we ended up laughing about it even though it later turned out he suffered from multiple concussions, 3rd degree burns, and severe internal injuries. Shortly after that, a big pop star took me under his wing and the last thing I remember was drinking a ton of Jesus juice. Demone, please don't let me get left behind ever again.

Easy solution, save some money and buy a decent endgame account with Wyvern set up (versus actually making in-game purchases to improve your current account).
Just as a counter-point to this monologue, you don't have to compete with anyone to enjoy this game. If you enjoy messing with character builds and team comps, there's plenty for you to do in E7. If you must be top PVP, well, good luck. That's tough even if you are day one.
Don’t be discouraged newer players, I talk from personal experience. You can totally be extremely competitive in this game while being f2p. The players who complain about it just want it served on a silver platter without putting any optimal strategy into the way they are playing.
I'm f2p and new. Arena match ups can be ridiculous sometimes lol.Sometimes i lose without getting a single turn. I don't even mention world arena. I have reached level 60 2 days ago. About my first impression of world arena....Let's just say my only win was by default
But yeah i wouldn't want it to be discouraging. If you focus on pvp builds it's possible for pvp progression. It's just about speed there which i didn't give importance too because i focused on story most. I'm at gold 2 btw
@@WebSlingerProductionsofficial That is also a common misconception. pvp is not all about speed in the slightest. But like he said in the video, pvp focus comes after you can even farm for gear, so first you have to be able to farm w13 etc.
@@TripleDot-w4s speed is still important in pvp. You can build 25k-30k+ hp tanky units but you'll just gonna get outspeed, debuff, killed or not getting a single turn if your units is too slow.
Definitely. Early in game is does take long to make 6 stars. Later on it becomes easier, but you have to get to "later on" first lol. Vildred is awesome for all content.
this "w11/13 all or nothing" attitude among streamers and guide makers is really dumb, y'all are just going to burn out all the newbies and cause the game to hemorrhage players.
Corinn Heathers seriously, my friend who started off with golem farming ( started with fire units ) is much more well off than me even though I started farming wyvern a little after him.
The problem is there isn’t enough resources for regular people to stay alongside whales and streamers who play all day (and get paid to get resources to play more). Resources like molagora, to upgrade the heroes you do have, let alone whether or not you have good heroes. You need millions in gold to have any kind of good gear at +15, and you’re punished with a gold sink for swapping gear between characters. And of course you need enough energy to farm, and this is all the while simultaneously trying to do all the special events, abyss, automation tower, raid, etc. To prioritize hunts, for most people, is to simultaneously sacrifice all the other things you have to do in this game. It’s a struggle.
@@STREEEEEET I agree, but unfortunately much of this game is designed around whatever the whales are doing (people who usually end up being the major talking heads from the playerbase to the devs for feedback), not the vast majority of people who are regular players who don't put in as many hours. For example, suppose one were to say 5* hero drop rates are too low, or how the shop is incredibly overpriced (about 4x the actual value): one would imagine an immediate response "No they're not because look at [successful whale]." There is simply no way for a regular person to play catch-up. I don't think many people realize how few level 65 people are even able to have gear good enough for hell raid (let alone the best heroes). It's hard to see when you're in a small bubble of just the top players. There are also far more people who joined 'after' the Guilty Gear event, and some people are like "Hunt 13 is ez bruh, just use SSB, Dizzy and all the GG artifacts that you definitely wouldn't have." Really the most valuable feedback comes from the silent regular majority, not necessarily the loud dedicated minority who live in Discord and Reddit.
@@Revaiel_ The sad reality is you will never ever be able to catch up to the whales no matter how perfectly you invest your resources. And it is true for all these mobile gacha games not only E7. Over the years the devs tried to give free stuff to the f2p populace like releasing free spirit tieria (which is a good hero by the way atleast for f2p player but for some reason most of the youtubers did not really like her!) or adding adventure's path, but it is still not enough i guess.
Playing the game like this is more like a job rather than for enjoyment. i dont play this game to look at sexy gear. i play to look at sexy characters and focusing on just 4 is wack.
F2P, I joined around 4 months ago so I still feel a little bit newish, Rank 65 very recently. I didn't have much issues to jump up to Master V, and if I dedicated myself into it I know I can fool around Challenger V or so without much issue. I've just used 3*'s and 4*'s like Silk, Rin or Ras for the large part, and pretty bad gear luck (5 arena gears in a row with 3-4 effect res rolls), so it is not like I just "got lucky" and call it a day. I don't feel being left behind for Hunts 13 really. I know I will be able to auto them eventually and that is fine for me. It is not like Gear 70 suddenly begins to suck, since a well rolled 70 is a lot better than your average 85 stuff, or that I cannot access to decent 85 gear from time to time, or that I will never be able to 90 my good 85 gear, since the upgrade matts drops at a reasonable pace even on Hunt 11. The drop rates differences aren't even that different from Hunt 13 to Hunt 11, and newer players can do fine Hunt 7-10 and trade up materials. I feel this is the kind of game that you need to be smart with your resource usage than anything else. If you want to skip early/mid game you will need to whale, but otherwise it is just a matter of having some patience and administering your gold efficiently.
I feel like the biggest problem with the reforged gear is the ridiculous amount of speed someone can get. Hunting for speed gear is already hard enough but when the people that already have really fast speed gear get another bump it really throws off hero balancing. For example my Lidica currently has 265 speed (with upgraded speed boots). I outspeed most Basars. But I have run into two or three Basars that outspeed me. So they have to have around 270 speed. Thats an average of 18 speed on every piece of gear (excluding 45 speed from the boots). Granted these Basars could already have fully upgraded gear but if they don't it is going to be very difficult to catch up to them. I'm an endgame player so I will probably be able to get my Lidica to be able to outspeed (almost) every Basar once I reforge all my gear. But it will be impossible for midgame/early endgame players to catch up to these speed totals. So I just want to put an idea out there that could make the game much more accessible regarding speed. So what if there would be cap to how much speed you could get from gear. Similar to crit chance. This would make so that speed tears would be much clearer defined and people could actually catch up. I'm still thinking about if the speed set bonus would count towards this cap or not but I'm gravitating to it not counting towards it. As for concrete numbers I am thinking about a speed cap of 100. That would be a 11 speed average for every equipment piece excluding boots (45 speed from boots and 55 speed from the other pieces). I think that is an achievable number without making gear with higher speed rolls useless.
I still have long way to go. It's close to my 2nd month now. But just today i feel like i had a huge progression leap. Today i cleared the automation tower and episode 2 final boss (i still have traumatic flashbacks lol i hate that boss too much i beat him at 253638273rd attempt probably) and reached gold 2. Right now i have 4 six stars Ml Charlotte,Bellona,Lorina and Champion Zerato. My next 6 star is probably going to be a healer probably Roana rather than Ruele because Roana's passive heals depends on her health. I use both of them for my Arena team. I might just wait for Ras specialty change for my next six star too. Getting six stars is too hard. I wish they would make a faster way for it.
Darius Wiley Yeah when i was at the last floor of automation tower and the system called my team “weak” i thought i would've have to come back later for it. But i did it in my first try. The real insane problem was 10-10 episode 2 boss. He got insane when his health got lower spamming his sp3 and sp2 while having a crit armor with shield on. I was able to get rid off some of his buffs using the Violin artifact with Zerato. Also i feel extremely lucky because there was free unequip event so i swapped my gears and tested out a lot with them. However the event ended just when i was in the middle of fighting the last boss so i had a lot of gears in character where they shouldn't be. I still couldn't manage to set all of my gear like the way it was because i'm out of gold. So basically i'm bankrupt in the game right now haha

Someone accused me of buying my account and when i told him it’s just beginner luck he didn’t believe me and said “Don’t worry we won’t report you...” lol i just couldn’t convince him i got them by luck I think i’ve been really lucky with 5 star pulls like i pulled Roana in my first 5 and pulling Kawerik in my 2nd. Also i think pulling Ml Charlotte from Galaxy summon is less common than mystic summon. Hope we both get lucky in next free summon days. My luck was really bad on those. Best i pulled was 4 star dupes like Corvus,Romann and Cidd
I also just recently beat automaton tower for the 2nd time after quiting. My pulls were luluca, Luna, Angelica, sigret. I cleared most all content with that team-but please don't ask about arena haha :) your pulls are super lucky
I started this game a bit over a year ago and I`m left behind cuz I give no shits about gear lol The RNG is just too annoying to me and I dont care about pvp. I can fully complete the events so thats all I care about. Sometimes I go on Hunt and leave it on auto for a while, then I upgrade the gear and see if I get decent stats, but thats all I do. Shit is just too stressful to actually put effort into a system that depends mostly on luck.
I know this comment is a few weeks old, but this stance is so underrepresented in these parts I have to commend you for it. As interesting as these videos can be, they are made with a very specific view of the game, and the difference in what the content creators preach is negligible.
The fact that you have to streamline to this one dungeon to be able to truly enjoy the game sucks😢. Maybe it’s just dedication but I feel like it takes a bit too much work to make one six star lol
Eventually you will have so many 6* that you will have not enough gear for them. Or you have so much units you want to build but no point cause no gear. Believe me true story...
Day one player, and as (semi) f2p, been always in the middle. I can easily do W11 with luna on lvl 55 gear. the fact the ga,e shifted to pve (at least for now) is interesting to say the least. I was getting a little bored on W11
If the game has less RNG, the path of progression could be clearer and players could be more motivated to achieve it. Like in other games with gear progression for end game like MMORPGs with raid systems like WoW or FFXIV. Right now you need to spend shit tons of money to get the perfect gear you want. Equipment conversion is a try to improve this but I dont think is enough.
Thing is in most of my games I never get the gear I need for wyvern, more so now for W13. Very rarely do I get speed or effectiveness gear that have ideal stats. So I don't know how is it I hear (and actually encounter) players with these great teams. What I'm actually getting at, on average, how long does it take for all of you to get an optimize W11 team with great gear?
It's 100% rng. You either get lucky or you don't. I'm in the same boat where no matter how long i hunt for all my gear has the worst combo of stats possible.
farming hunt is only sensible if you have tons of money to spend on tons of energy, it's a whale thing. f2p players are basically stuck with event/abyss/labyrinth/quest gear.
About your bad gear substats, you should be fine with level 85 blue gear, just make sure the two substats are the ones you want/need the most, speaking from experience the blue gear rolls pretty well, since the first two enhancements appear on your original substats. goodluck with rng for the following substats after +9 though
this is game is fun and I love the art, but RNG is dog shit. It has layer upon layer of RNG that is insane, almost a scam I would dare to say. So you need luck and money to get to end game. First you need to clear the dungeon, get a rarity you want, the level of the gear, then the main stat, then se substats. Then you upgrade the gear with more RNG to get the updates you want, at that point the piece could be lost if the rolls are bad. Thats for 1 piece of 1 character. You need to gear 4 chars with 6 pieces each. PLus maybe a 5th unit, the farmer.
Too much investment to build units for W13. And my main problem with W13 is not even with the Wyvern resisting, its just the chance for my debuffs to land. Eg. TG defence break chance is 75% but that 25% chance to not land def break is just legit happening ALL the time, no joke. I'm just gonna give up. I built Chloe because Magic nail is 100% chance and can't be resisted so that makes things slightly better but still not good enough, idk. I can't bother W12 also gives the things to reforge gear so I guess I'm just gonna do my W12
I understand your frustration but dont be discouraged.. everyone is tackling W13 so fast. I feel that it's too fuckin stressful to re-gear everyone and spend time 6* units JJST FOR W13. Just take your time..slowly build your teams and eventually you will get there. W11, G11, B11, A11 is still a viable option to farm gear 🙂
I just composed a team for W13 and it did 10 runs without fail, there is still room for failure though, I just got lucky. It has Angelica, SSB, Taranor Guard and Chloe
Next patch will be dropping only 85 gear so 13 is a must to get more bang per energy spent. It is essential for rta but for evrthing else anything will do

I got lucky and pulled Tywin in my 10 free summons and so I only had to aim for Angelica from my Selective which I did that went along with Aramintha and Alexa. Is this a good starting team?

From your units I'd say Teranor Guard. That team looks nice. When Angelica is full geared and she can heal herself and dont die, you can replace Tywin with another DPS/debuffer. Mistychain or even better Luluca, Karin, etc.
Is Diene good for wyvern? I'm trying to get my future team locked in but not sure. I have TRG and A Momo locked in, but not sure if Diene or Crozet for frontline. I currently use Sez for dps but might change him to a more meta wyvern unit eventually.
So you said to respond in the comments if we had questions, I’m looking at running momo, Clarissa, karin, and luluca. I think this should work if I put the harmful effect artifact on lulu, and the gg artifact on Clarissa with ddjoker on karin. I do think I’m going to struggle to make the speed check of 170 and still have enough of all my other stats since I just got into w11 last week...
Can you help me with a Wyvern team? My current units are Montmo, TG, Alexa, Misty, Aither, Karin, Rima, Enott, and Zerato. I know for sure that Im going to be using Montmo, TG, and Alexa, but Im not sure who I want for the fourth slot. Im probably going to use Montmo to tank because I dont have an actual ice tank, so Im considering Mistychain to be a subhealer and some dps. My only worry is not having enough attack on Misty to effectively help heal. Im only a week or two into the game and havent really known what im doing
Oni With that mentality you might as well quit. There are plenty of f2p players out there, me included, who can clear w13 with ease. And no, you don’t have to be a “I’ve been playing for months” player to do that.

I'm on the same page. I have the resources to make Alexa 6 star. I'm beating it with SSB, Luna, Momo tank and Diene but it's neither super fast nor consistent enough, it can fail if boss targets the same DPS twice in a roll and sometimes when i don't land a crit during shield. I'm not sure if Alexa will be an improvement to Luna and i really hate spending resources unwisely.
My current W11 team is AMomo with 13k hp and 1.2k defense with Max resistance Tywin Alexa and Kise, all of them are 5* aside from AMomo. I'm not sure what modifications I can make to push for W13. I have a good amount of units that could be an option like Diene Yuna Clarissa etc. I believe I have most 4* mons aside from Karin and a few more.
Kise's gonna be ddead weight in 13, no need to invest in her. 6 star tywin for frontline, or if you frontline healer, 6star that. i also got a clarissa, but her d break's just not as reliable as taranor guard. My w13 team's gonna be alexa, tg, mistychain, tywin as tank. if my tywin can't solo tank it, i'll prob swap him out for momo to heal tank until i can get gear on him so he can tank until i'm able to kill it

You will know whos end game when you get one shot without getting a turn. If you are getting turns here and there that means your either new or mid game

I use Alexa, Furious, Chloe (Diene as tank, but you can replace her with Angelica, cause Diene need some sick gear to tank) If you gave good enough gear (and Song of Stars) it will not be that hard to farm W13 Not 100% success rate, 15% resistance is always here for you

I was thinking of running Sigret, Krau , Luluca, and Karen/Luna for W13 runs for some stable kind of debuffs and def breaks. Would a team like this be pretty viable or should I change things up? I already use Luna, Karen and Krau for my 11/12 runs I just can't seem to get 13 going yet
If you have the gear, i think Sigret, Alexa, TG and Krau with that PvE artifact that reduces boss dmg can do it consistently. This team with Krau s3 has potential to kill before shield phase.
Currently using sigret, chloe, clarissa, and montmo for wyvern 11. Is a tank and healer duo a must for 13? I have krau/crozet, taranor, and alexa to build up if needed. Planned to eventually do 1 tank and 3dps unless healer/tank duo is a must.
You can do it without a healer consistently provided that you can maintain 3 debuffs on the boss at all times. My Krau is 22.5k hp and 2200 defense and i've tried solo tank and for now it works better with a healer.

Any and all of those heroes can work. Angelica (F) Alexa, taranor, furious, is a sample team. 2 def breakers, front line and a bunch of harmful effects is the recipe
Furious is very useful for Wyvern teams as he reduces the amount of Critical Chance your team needs by 50% and has a 100% chance def. break (excluding the innate 15% resistance).The point is, you need to make a heavy mola investment to make it so the crit buff has a 100% uptime and his def. break has a 100% accuracy. Also his buff is not that good for Karin as she still need 100% crit chance because her s2 make her take an extra turn.
my current team is slow, maybe 150 for all 4 units. ssb, luna, a mont, dizzy. i have tried karin, rose and angelica and i just pulled sigret. do i reshuffle gear around and try something else or?
Yes as long as you a. deal enough damage before tywin dies or b. tywin is tanky enough to last throughout the fight while you deal harmful effects etc.

after rerolling 14 times on 4 devices simultaneously. that's 300x4= 1200. 1200x14 times= 16800 pulls.... i couldn't pull tywin and the angelica combo. actually i couldn't even pull double 5 stars or ANY 5 star plus 4 star combination. i got luluca plus some good 3 stars whose names i forgot so i decided to start the game with that... i've never had such bad luck since granblue fantasy.

I can do W12 full auto with Angelica, Momo, Karin and Luluca. Luluca got the arena effectiveness ring so the wyvern is always defense broken. Got Alexa, Misty, Krau. What should I do to try W13? Rn my Angelica is full HP sets, 22K HP and 1.6K defense but is still slow so I still need momo. Should I use speed sets?
Just started the game a week ago but is a team of Angelic Montmorancy, Alexa, Angelica, and Karin a good team to focus on? Got my first 6* today with the Montmorancy and trying to level everyone to 50. Should I be focusing on trying to do Wyvern 11 after I level them to 50 or continue to farm phatasma and get the whole team to 6* first? Thanks for any advice.
laxbui Hard to say. That’s a very solid team for W11. Angelica is definitely a good hero to 6* just because she’s very useful for Abyss and PVE content. Karin is also good to 6* since she might still be good to use for W13. You can probably leave Alexa at 50 for now though. W11 really isn’t too hard with that team once you get some good gear. Focus on W11 for now until you get some good pieces. W12 is probably not really worth it since you won’t be able to auto it for awhile.
Hey Demone, not sure why we have to do 13 when i get the same drops in w11 just less of it. I've been farming W11 and have close to 1500 claws which will let me forge tons of level 85 gear. Why do the w13 which is much harder?
@@ZenKinji i have sets very low in speed even with maxed gear i can auto W11 100% rate , but i did win 1 time manually out of 15 tries in W12 so i need to change gear specially on angelica my front ( if i add a seconde healer will not have enough dmg to break the barrier)
Abdelhak Lahmamssi if you want to go for w12 auto, though it might take a while, a ~170 speed montmo + 22k hp 1.5k def krau can tank up to second barrier proc, so you can set up 2 dps for it as long as you can kill it within 2-3 shield procs Edit : I used aurius on krau and rod on montmo, could work better if you use shield of ezra on krau, or use just build and use crozet

Work on Alexa because she's great in w13 I use Clarissa Karin Alexa and Angie. I got rid of my Luna for Alexa and she's honestly better for that hunt and my Alexa is only a 5star with 2500 attack

I would highly advise alexa if you don't have sigret, SSB, or dizzy. You can't put a price on the amount of debuffs she brings to the table. Especially with how high the resist floor is for W13. @@jimjones9631 Misty chain is another good one for "Mass" debuffs as well. Key is to make sure your frontline can survive without having a dedicated healer. (Which is why so many folks default to angelica for their tank again.)
Yea... I love ice Kise, but she's not really useful anywhere... I wish they would add an extra turn to her S3 if she kills/crits. That way she'd be useful in PvP at least
hey mate I started playing like 1 or 2 weeks ago I decided to go with angelica plus clarissa in the selective summons and got karin in the beguiners missions so I started tto build them and then I got general purgis and I heard he's actually solid in the w11 so I decided to lvl him up is this a good start? I also got krau in the free singles they are giving so is he better than purgis or am I in the right direction?
TheNaniPT You are actually doing great, general purg is the best frontliner for w13. So you have him, angelica, karin, and clarissa. That sounds like a good team, you might lack debuffs however. So I advise to incorporate a heavy debuffer in your team.
@@xXNaniPTXx As you will surely notice when watching w13 videos, you need 2 debuffs on the boss at all times for it to focus your frontline (ergo so it does't snipe one of your other units). So aside for consistent defense break you need other debuffs, which is why picks like sigret, clarissa, tg, alexa, are so popular.
I have Karin, Furious, Mont.Momo, and Angelica/Roana (as tank). I can auto wyvern 11, and beat wyvern 12 manually. Is my team comp good for wyvern 13 or do I need to change it up?
J H You cannot use Roana for 13, so you’ll have to run Angie. Your biggest goal is to inflict three debuffs by turn 2. Your DPS characters need to revolve around that.
Roana is useless vs w12 & w13 Angie is great, u can use her as solo tank if her stats are good enough Furious and Karin are great if u have junkyard dog run it on furious or torn-sleeve on karin and run Alexa on ddj and u will have a good w13 team if no torn-sleeve or junkyard u will need debuffs so run a unit like Sigret, Chloe, dizzy, ssb for debuffs If angie cant solo tank u will need her + momo then u can run both furious and karin on junkyard and torn sleeve for debuffs or use sigret + furious/ chloe + karin / sigret + chloe grass angel has a great video for w13 u can see it for more info
If you still can not find a good team for W13, replace Furious with Luluca for W12. I got Karin, Angelica, Momo and Luluca and it is full auto W12. We got a banner for Luluca next week.

I don't want to be left behind Demone. The last time I was left behind, it was around Christmas, and my family went to Paris without me. Then 2 burglars tried to break into my house, and I had to set a lot of booby traps to stop them. Most of those traps would've been fatal under normal circumstances, but fortunately one of the burglars was Joe Pesci so we ended up laughing about it even though it later turned out he suffered from multiple concussions, 3rd degree burns, and severe internal injuries. Easy solution, save some money and buy a decent endgame account with Wyvern set up (versus actually making in-game purchases to improve your current account).
The only thing you are getting behind at is pvp, if you play casually you can catch up if you arent competitive
Dont stress out pvp not the only content in this game.. i play a month this game but i still on wyvern 9 i stuck at that lol.
Just as a counter-point to this monologue, you don't have to compete with anyone to enjoy this game. If you enjoy messing with character builds and team comps, there's plenty for you to do in E7. If you must be top PVP, well, good luck. That's tough even if you are day one.
Don’t be discouraged newer players, I talk from personal experience. You can totally be extremely competitive in this game while being f2p. The players who complain about it just want it served on a silver platter without putting any optimal strategy into the way they are playing.
I'm f2p and new. Arena match ups can be ridiculous sometimes lol.Sometimes i lose without getting a single turn. I don't even mention world arena. I have reached level 60 2 days ago. About my first impression of world arena....Let's just say my only win was by default
But yeah i wouldn't want it to be discouraging. If you focus on pvp builds it's possible for pvp progression. It's just about speed there which i didn't give importance too because i focused on story most.

@@WebSlingerProductionsofficial That is also a common misconception. pvp is not all about speed in the slightest. But like he said in the video, pvp focus comes after you can even farm for gear, so first you have to be able to farm w13 etc.
@@TripleDot-w4s speed is still important in pvp. You can build 25k-30k+ hp tanky units but you'll just gonna get outspeed, debuff, killed or not getting a single turn if your units is too slow.

Definitely. Early in game is does take long to make 6 stars. Later on it becomes easier, but you have to get to "later on" first lol. Vildred is awesome for all content.
And not to mention he can carry early game arena till master rank with lvl 40 Judith and free connection hero Yuna as buffer, So yeah, no regrets 💪

this "w11/13 all or nothing" attitude among streamers and guide makers is really dumb, y'all are just going to burn out all the newbies and cause the game to hemorrhage players.
Corinn Heathers seriously, my friend who started off with golem farming ( started with fire units ) is much more well off than me even though I started farming wyvern a little after him.
The problem is there isn’t enough resources for regular people to stay alongside whales and streamers who play all day (and get paid to get resources to play more). Resources like molagora, to upgrade the heroes you do have, let alone whether or not you have good heroes. You need millions in gold to have any kind of good gear at +15, and you’re punished with a gold sink for swapping gear between characters. And of course you need enough energy to farm, and this is all the while simultaneously trying to do all the special events, abyss, automation tower, raid, etc. To prioritize hunts, for most people, is to simultaneously sacrifice all the other things you have to do in this game. It’s a struggle.

@@STREEEEEET I agree, but unfortunately much of this game is designed around whatever the whales are doing (people who usually end up being the major talking heads from the playerbase to the devs for feedback), not the vast majority of people who are regular players who don't put in as many hours. For example, suppose one were to say 5* hero drop rates are too low, or how the shop is incredibly overpriced (about 4x the actual value): one would imagine an immediate response "No they're not because look at [successful whale]." There is simply no way for a regular person to play catch-up. I don't think many people realize how few level 65 people are even able to have gear good enough for hell raid (let alone the best heroes). It's hard to see when you're in a small bubble of just the top players.
There are also far more people who joined 'after' the Guilty Gear event, and some people are like "Hunt 13 is ez bruh, just use SSB, Dizzy and all the GG artifacts that you definitely wouldn't have." Really the most valuable feedback comes from the silent regular majority, not necessarily the loud dedicated minority who live in Discord and Reddit.

Over the years the devs tried to give free stuff to the f2p populace like releasing free spirit tieria (which is a good hero by the way atleast for f2p player but for some reason most of the youtubers did not really like her!) or adding adventure's path, but it is still not enough i guess.

F2P, I joined around 4 months ago so I still feel a little bit newish, Rank 65 very recently. I didn't have much issues to jump up to Master V, and if I dedicated myself into it I know I can fool around Challenger V or so without much issue. I've just used 3*'s and 4*'s like Silk, Rin or Ras for the large part, and pretty bad gear luck (5 arena gears in a row with 3-4 effect res rolls), so it is not like I just "got lucky" and call it a day.
I don't feel being left behind for Hunts 13 really. I know I will be able to auto them eventually and that is fine for me. It is not like Gear 70 suddenly begins to suck, since a well rolled 70 is a lot better than your average 85 stuff, or that I cannot access to decent 85 gear from time to time, or that I will never be able to 90 my good 85 gear, since the upgrade matts drops at a reasonable pace even on Hunt 11. The drop rates differences aren't even that different from Hunt 13 to Hunt 11, and newer players can do fine Hunt 7-10 and trade up materials.
I feel this is the kind of game that you need to be smart with your resource usage than anything else. If you want to skip early/mid game you will need to whale, but otherwise it is just a matter of having some patience and administering your gold efficiently.
I feel like the biggest problem with the reforged gear is the ridiculous amount of speed someone can get. Hunting for speed gear is already hard enough but when the people that already have really fast speed gear get another bump it really throws off hero balancing.
For example my Lidica currently has 265 speed (with upgraded speed boots). I outspeed most Basars. But I have run into two or three Basars that outspeed me. So they have to have around 270 speed. Thats an average of 18 speed on every piece of gear (excluding 45 speed from the boots). Granted these Basars could already have fully upgraded gear but if they don't it is going to be very difficult to catch up to them.
I'm an endgame player so I will probably be able to get my Lidica to be able to outspeed (almost) every Basar once I reforge all my gear. But it will be impossible for midgame/early endgame players to catch up to these speed totals.
So I just want to put an idea out there that could make the game much more accessible regarding speed. So what if there would be cap to how much speed you could get from gear. Similar to crit chance. This would make so that speed tears would be much clearer defined and people could actually catch up. I'm still thinking about if the speed set bonus would count towards this cap or not but I'm gravitating to it not counting towards it.
As for concrete numbers I am thinking about a speed cap of 100. That would be a 11 speed average for every equipment piece excluding boots (45 speed from boots and 55 speed from the other pieces). I think that is an achievable number without making gear with higher speed rolls useless.

I still have long way to go. It's close to my 2nd month now. But just today i feel like i had a huge progression leap. Today i cleared the automation tower and episode 2 final boss (i still have traumatic flashbacks lol i hate that boss too much i beat him at 253638273rd attempt probably) and reached gold 2.
Right now i have 4 six stars Ml Charlotte,Bellona,Lorina and Champion Zerato. My next 6 star is probably going to be a healer probably Roana rather than Ruele because Roana's passive heals depends on her health. I use both of them for my Arena team. I might just wait for Ras specialty change for my next six star too. Getting six stars is too hard. I wish they would make a faster way for it.

Darius Wiley Yeah when i was at the last floor of automation tower and the system called my team “weak” i thought i would've have to come back later for it. But i did it in my first try. The real insane problem was 10-10 episode 2 boss. He got insane when his health got lower spamming his sp3 and sp2 while having a crit armor with shield on. I was able to get rid off some of his buffs using the Violin artifact with Zerato.
Also i feel extremely lucky because there was free unequip event so i swapped my gears and tested out a lot with them. However the event ended just when i was in the middle of fighting the last boss so i had a lot of gears in character where they shouldn't be. I still couldn't manage to set all of my gear like the way it was because i'm out of gold. So basically i'm bankrupt in the game right now haha

I think i’ve been really lucky with 5 star pulls like i pulled Roana in my first 5 and pulling Kawerik in my 2nd. Also i think pulling Ml Charlotte from Galaxy summon is less common than mystic summon.
Hope we both get lucky in next free summon days. My luck was really bad on those. Best i pulled was 4 star dupes like Corvus,Romann and Cidd
I also just recently beat automaton tower for the 2nd time after quiting. My pulls were luluca, Luna, Angelica, sigret. I cleared most all content with that team-but please don't ask about arena haha :) your pulls are super lucky
I started this game a bit over a year ago and I`m left behind cuz I give no shits about gear lol
The RNG is just too annoying to me and I dont care about pvp. I can fully complete the events so thats all I care about. Sometimes I go on Hunt and leave it on auto for a while, then I upgrade the gear and see if I get decent stats, but thats all I do.
Shit is just too stressful to actually put effort into a system that depends mostly on luck.

As interesting as these videos can be, they are made with a very specific view of the game, and the difference in what the content creators preach is negligible.

Day one player, and as (semi) f2p, been always in the middle. I can easily do W11 with luna on lvl 55 gear. the fact the ga,e shifted to pve (at least for now) is interesting to say the least. I was getting a little bored on W11
If the game has less RNG, the path of progression could be clearer and players could be more motivated to achieve it. Like in other games with gear progression for end game like MMORPGs with raid systems like WoW or FFXIV.
Right now you need to spend shit tons of money to get the perfect gear you want.
Equipment conversion is a try to improve this but I dont think is enough.
Thing is in most of my games I never get the gear I need for wyvern, more so now for W13. Very rarely do I get speed or effectiveness gear that have ideal stats. So I don't know how is it I hear (and actually encounter) players with these great teams. What I'm actually getting at, on average, how long does it take for all of you to get an optimize W11 team with great gear?
It's 100% rng. You either get lucky or you don't. I'm in the same boat where no matter how long i hunt for all my gear has the worst combo of stats possible.
farming hunt is only sensible if you have tons of money to spend on tons of energy, it's a whale thing. f2p players are basically stuck with event/abyss/labyrinth/quest gear.
About your bad gear substats, you should be fine with level 85 blue gear, just make sure the two substats are the ones you want/need the most,
speaking from experience the blue gear rolls pretty well, since the first two enhancements appear on your original substats. goodluck with rng for the following substats after +9 though
this is game is fun and I love the art, but RNG is dog shit. It has layer upon layer of RNG that is insane, almost a scam I would dare to say. So you need luck and money to get to end game. First you need to clear the dungeon, get a rarity you want, the level of the gear, then the main stat, then se substats. Then you upgrade the gear with more RNG to get the updates you want, at that point the piece could be lost if the rolls are bad.
Thats for 1 piece of 1 character. You need to gear 4 chars with 6 pieces each. PLus maybe a 5th unit, the farmer.
1:40, I probably have have all the units I need to beat wyvern 10 but I can't stop useing adlay on all of my runs.
Too much investment to build units for W13. And my main problem with W13 is not even with the Wyvern resisting, its just the chance for my debuffs to land. Eg. TG defence break chance is 75% but that 25% chance to not land def break is just legit happening ALL the time, no joke. I'm just gonna give up. I built Chloe because Magic nail is 100% chance and can't be resisted so that makes things slightly better but still not good enough, idk. I can't bother
W12 also gives the things to reforge gear so I guess I'm just gonna do my W12
I understand your frustration but dont be discouraged.. everyone is tackling W13 so fast. I feel that it's too fuckin stressful to re-gear everyone and spend time 6* units JJST FOR W13. Just take your time..slowly build your teams and eventually you will get there. W11, G11, B11, A11 is still a viable option to farm gear 🙂
I just composed a team for W13 and it did 10 runs without fail, there is still room for failure though, I just got lucky. It has Angelica, SSB, Taranor Guard and Chloe
Next patch will be dropping only 85 gear so 13 is a must to get more bang per energy spent. It is essential for rta but for evrthing else anything will do

From your units I'd say Teranor Guard. That team looks nice. When Angelica is full geared and she can heal herself and dont die, you can replace Tywin with another DPS/debuffer. Mistychain or even better Luluca, Karin, etc.
Is Diene good for wyvern? I'm trying to get my future team locked in but not sure. I have TRG and A Momo locked in, but not sure if Diene or Crozet for frontline. I currently use Sez for dps but might change him to a more meta wyvern unit eventually.
So I dont have SSB but I do have Dizzy, is it safe to just carbon copy your team in the vid swapping the two with a Sira-Ren on Dizzy?

Yea you should be fine, just take it one step at a time. Your stats will get better little by little.

I'm on the same page. I have the resources to make Alexa 6 star. I'm beating it with SSB, Luna, Momo tank and Diene but it's neither super fast nor consistent enough, it can fail if boss targets the same DPS twice in a roll and sometimes when i don't land a crit during shield.
I'm not sure if Alexa will be an improvement to Luna and i really hate spending resources unwisely.

My current W11 team is AMomo with 13k hp and 1.2k defense with Max resistance Tywin Alexa and Kise, all of them are 5* aside from AMomo. I'm not sure what modifications I can make to push for W13. I have a good amount of units that could be an option like Diene Yuna Clarissa etc. I believe I have most 4* mons aside from Karin and a few more.
Kise's gonna be ddead weight in 13, no need to invest in her. 6 star tywin for frontline, or if you frontline healer, 6star that. i also got a clarissa, but her d break's just not as reliable as taranor guard. My w13 team's gonna be alexa, tg, mistychain, tywin as tank. if my tywin can't solo tank it, i'll prob swap him out for momo to heal tank until i can get gear on him so he can tank until i'm able to kill it

You will know whos end game when you get one shot without getting a turn. If you are getting turns here and there that means your either new or mid game

I was thinking of running Sigret, Krau , Luluca, and Karen/Luna for W13 runs for some stable kind of debuffs and def breaks. Would a team like this be pretty viable or should I change things up? I already use Luna, Karen and Krau for my 11/12 runs I just can't seem to get 13 going yet
If you have the gear, i think Sigret, Alexa, TG and Krau with that PvE artifact that reduces boss dmg can do it consistently. This team with Krau s3 has potential to kill before shield phase.

Currently using sigret, chloe, clarissa, and montmo for wyvern 11. Is a tank and healer duo a must for 13? I have krau/crozet, taranor, and alexa to build up if needed. Planned to eventually do 1 tank and 3dps unless healer/tank duo is a must.
You can do it without a healer consistently provided that you can maintain 3 debuffs on the boss at all times. My Krau is 22.5k hp and 2200 defense and i've tried solo tank and for now it works better with a healer.

Any and all of those heroes can work. Angelica (F) Alexa, taranor, furious, is a sample team. 2 def breakers, front line and a bunch of harmful effects is the recipe
Furious is very useful for Wyvern teams as he reduces the amount of Critical Chance your team needs by 50% and has a 100% chance def. break (excluding the innate 15% resistance).The point is, you need to make a heavy mola investment to make it so the crit buff has a 100% uptime and his def. break has a 100% accuracy. Also his buff is not that good for Karin as she still need 100% crit chance because her s2 make her take an extra turn.

Yes as long as you a. deal enough damage before tywin dies or b. tywin is tanky enough to last throughout the fight while you deal harmful effects etc.

i got luluca plus some good 3 stars whose names i forgot so i decided to start the game with that...

Definitely switch up someone for yufine, she is an earth unit and not a very good idea for wyvern.

I can do W12 full auto with Angelica, Momo, Karin and Luluca. Luluca got the arena effectiveness ring so the wyvern is always defense broken. Got Alexa, Misty, Krau. What should I do to try W13? Rn my Angelica is full HP sets, 22K HP and 1.6K defense but is still slow so I still need momo. Should I use speed sets?
Just started the game a week ago but is a team of Angelic Montmorancy, Alexa, Angelica, and Karin a good team to focus on? Got my first 6* today with the Montmorancy and trying to level everyone to 50. Should I be focusing on trying to do Wyvern 11 after I level them to 50 or continue to farm phatasma and get the whole team to 6* first? Thanks for any advice.
laxbui Hard to say. That’s a very solid team for W11. Angelica is definitely a good hero to 6* just because she’s very useful for Abyss and PVE content. Karin is also good to 6* since she might still be good to use for W13. You can probably leave Alexa at 50 for now though. W11 really isn’t too hard with that team once you get some good gear.
Focus on W11 for now until you get some good pieces. W12 is probably not really worth it since you won’t be able to auto it for awhile.
Hey Demone, not sure why we have to do 13 when i get the same drops in w11 just less of it. I've been farming W11 and have close to 1500 claws which will let me forge tons of level 85 gear. Why do the w13 which is much harder?
W13 gives you the material needed for lvl90 gear. Because you upgrade lvl85 gear into lvl90 with the w13 material.

@@ZenKinji i have sets very low in speed even with maxed gear i can auto W11 100% rate , but i did win 1 time manually out of 15 tries in W12 so i need to change gear specially on angelica my front ( if i add a seconde healer will not have enough dmg to break the barrier)
Abdelhak Lahmamssi if you want to go for w12 auto, though it might take a while, a ~170 speed montmo + 22k hp 1.5k def krau can tank up to second barrier proc, so you can set up 2 dps for it as long as you can kill it within 2-3 shield procs
Edit : I used aurius on krau and rod on montmo, could work better if you use shield of ezra on krau, or use just build and use crozet

She makes it a little harder but my runs on W13 use tamarinne SSB Angelica Luna. I cant auto but im working on switching people out. It functions for now

Karin you need really really good gear, if you have so so gear an Alexa might be better, I like destruction, rage for Karin personally.

Work on Alexa because she's great in w13 I use Clarissa Karin Alexa and Angie. I got rid of my Luna for Alexa and she's honestly better for that hunt and my Alexa is only a 5star with 2500 attack

You need more consistent def break (karin) for w11-12, and more sources of debuffs in general to prep for w13
Jesús Salas Kise is not good for W13. No debuffs. TBH Luna also isnt that great for W13 either. Im having to bring up some other heroes since im in the same boat as you. Im looking at Sigret, Chloe, TG and some healer/tank for the front

I would highly advise alexa if you don't have sigret, SSB, or dizzy. You can't put a price on the amount of debuffs she brings to the table. Especially with how high the resist floor is for W13. In his previous vid he stated that 70% was the sweet spot with 60% effectiveness at the minimumI still think he's being a smidge generous with his estimates but he's not wrong, W13 operates like a different beast entirely. Sad to say i've even gone as far as benching my +15 Luna till i can get my frontliner's gear up to par.
@@LordStrell I don't have neither of those 3 so I might look at Alexa again. I know I also saw Mistychain+sira-ren recommended so I've been debating on dabbling with that
@@jimjones9631 Misty chain is another good one for "Mass" debuffs as well. Key is to make sure your frontline can survive without having a dedicated healer. (Which is why so many folks default to angelica for their tank again.)

Yea... I love ice Kise, but she's not really useful anywhere... I wish they would add an extra turn to her S3 if she kills/crits. That way she'd be useful in PvP at least
hey mate I started playing like 1 or 2 weeks ago I decided to go with angelica plus clarissa in the selective summons and got karin in the beguiners missions so I started tto build them and then I got general purgis and I heard he's actually solid in the w11 so I decided to lvl him up is this a good start? I also got krau in the free singles they are giving so is he better than purgis or am I in the right direction?
TheNaniPT You are actually doing great, general purg is the best frontliner for w13. So you have him, angelica, karin, and clarissa. That sounds like a good team, you might lack debuffs however. So I advise to incorporate a heavy debuffer in your team.

@@xXNaniPTXx As you will surely notice when watching w13 videos, you need 2 debuffs on the boss at all times for it to focus your frontline (ergo so it does't snipe one of your other units). So aside for consistent defense break you need other debuffs, which is why picks like sigret, clarissa, tg, alexa, are so popular.

@@xXNaniPTXx The boss is immune to some debuffs: Decrease speed, stun, sleep, provoke, silence, and restrict. So those won't debuff it.

Kise has to go. She doesn’t bring enough debuffs for w13 unless they rerun the collaboration event and you can grab the torn sleeve artifact.
You're good with building up Angelica and Karin. If Crozet's your only tank, then that's fine. But rotate Kise for someone with debuffs.

That would be good just make sure you got 65 effectiveness with a lot of damage
Run luna/alexa on ddj instead of ssb for dmg and faster clear, with luluca and dizzy u should have enough debuffs

J H You cannot use Roana for 13, so you’ll have to run Angie.
Your biggest goal is to inflict three debuffs by turn 2. Your DPS characters need to revolve around that.
Roana is useless vs w12 & w13
Angie is great, u can use her as solo tank if her stats are good enough
Furious and Karin are great if u have junkyard dog run it on furious or torn-sleeve on karin and run Alexa on ddj and u will have a good w13 team
if no torn-sleeve or junkyard u will need debuffs so run a unit like Sigret, Chloe, dizzy, ssb for debuffs
If angie cant solo tank u will need her + momo
then u can run both furious and karin on junkyard and torn sleeve for debuffs
or use sigret + furious/ chloe + karin / sigret + chloe

If you still can not find a good team for W13, replace Furious with Luluca for W12. I got Karin, Angelica, Momo and Luluca and it is full auto W12. We got a banner for Luluca next week.

Just started 3 Days ago. But I don´t wana build something unnessesary. I also have Ken he is Type fire but he would bring fire and defence break to the table.
It won't work or at least it won't be consistent. Ideally you need to land 2 debuff's on your first turn and a def break during shield.
new gear= new problems=everyone ends up the same in the end competitively= a bunch of resources wasted
But with new gears you can say that new builds might be possible to test with.
