To bad hobbyking is not really reliable when it comes to stock. Are there any names on the retracts from witch manufacturers they are so I can find them outside if HK. Thanks for the info.
I got my vq retracts deliverd not long ago and i quickly checked mine for play after seeing this video as the vq retracts are not cheap and had me thinking i just wasted my money but i dont have any play in mine, the plastic wheel rim and the soft tyres are crap and they flex alot. I upgraded to aluminium rims and a harder tyre and thay are now perfect, no flex. Maybe try a aluminium rim with a bearing fitted and ya might be able to save ya retracts instead of shelving expensive retracts. Just a though as it worked for me.

Oh dear, I have the vq retracts which am about to install, I try them first as another commenter doesn't have the problem you have.
Well first day out with the plane and landing on grass they stock retracts bend too easily, will follow your upgrade. 👍
