  • yes people thought I would share this little video just in case you wasn't aware that I don't charge my e scooter to 98% and that I think it's a waste of time waiting for that last 8%.
    So the Nami Burn e fully charged at 98% other brand e scooters will be different in some will be 99% when it stops or maybe 100% but regardless I think the principle will be the same that last 10% I honestly think is only worth it for speed test or a race maybe, stopping at 90% instead also would benifit the life of battery too.
    yea the last 8% to charge just isi't worth it doesn't matter how slow u go it will still use that 10% and just under 2 volts in 1 mile after that its a lot more spread out its just that last 8%, good for speed test or drag race otherwise just stop at 90%

    I keep mine charged up to 100%. Sometimes I'll use 50% on a long ride, but usually 20-30% gets used up. It only takes 1.5 hours to charge from 50% to 100% with 2 chargers, 3 hours from 0.

    I totally understand you bro, i have my mukuta 10+ and in the top end of the battery 85-100% it drains faster even in lowest mode single motor but when it gets below 85% battery it lasts longer.

    What you said in the video and what you wrote in the video's description acc made sense to me straight away.. a month ago i bought a new scooter to upgrade from my Kugoo M4 Pro, which i now upgraded to X-Tron X20 Pro, and what i noticed over the past month is that on its peak voltage after charging to 100% the battery what would drain so quick from 67 ish volts down to 65.4 volts no matter how fast or slow i was riding, it drained so quick, was honestly confused and thought it might be a problem with my battery, now it makes sense to me ig..
    One thing i'll add on to the video and what Manc is saying is that, if you really need that extra 8-10% or you need whatever distance you can get, then you just go ahead and charge it fully to 100%..
    We need more videos aswell g, your the only person i watch on UA-cam who does E-S videos in the UK...💯

      The charger first charges with a high current but at the end, the current gets very low. Its normal that the last fee % take longer. Its like a parking lot, when it gets fuller, you need more time tonfind a parking space.
      100% charges are important: ua-cam.com/video/pgr7-b3eBm0/v-deo.htmlsi=TNwvP3NYt_6iotQ0

    Yeah it's more complicated than this.. the way it measures how full your battery is is probably on the voltage. The only accurate way for it to know how much battery is really left is for it to be fully discharged, then it can calculate what the capacity is of the battery as it goes down a bit over time. Macbook laptops do this really well, but I'm not sure about Nami scooters.. maybe they do. Worth googling.

    I dint think i can keep up with the best charging scenarios. Ill charge my nami burn e 2 max v2 when i feel like charging it but i dont like how it doesn't tell you how much charge it's doing while charging. I just gotta guess. To keep checking is irritating to guess what percentage it should be at

    I normally run mine down to 25% on long smooth rides but high demand fast rides ill only go down to 35% and if I plan on riding for along time I'll go to 100% otherwise 80% for everything else

    ngl u cant jus be sayin all e scooter dont, its diff for all e scooters dont reallly listen to this info as its just that scooter, scooters measure voltage and 8% is and can be alot especially if you got good regen and good range on a scooter.

    • @ElectricManc
      @ElectricManc  11 місяців тому

      no regen and riding in slowest mode for 1 mile was the point cells are cells bro and Nami has good branded cells its only the top 10% thats affected same with Any battery that we have currently - have a great day 😃

  • @McKuc

    Always 100% charge ua-cam.com/video/pgr7-b3eBm0/v-deo.htmlsi=TNwvP3NYt_6iotQ0
    Your Dashboard does not show the level exactly. What happens when you drive 1mile and it drops from 98% to whatever and you stop and wait a bit. Is the battery level going up again? 😂
