Another excellent video assessment. I continue to watch all your Axopar videos because you offer good practical information, and knowledge of the history and development of the Axopar line. Many other reviewers just seem like salesmen, and not lovers of the product and development.
Thank you for your compliment Walter. I am happy that you enjoy watching our videos, this motivates us to keep making these videos as it isn't always easy. But this one also was fun: different (blue) water, different conditions, on a great boat. And yes, we earn a living selling these boats, but certainly also are in our hearts! Warm regards from The Netherlands, Bart Kempers
Great review. I would love a small overhead hatch getting some fresh air into the multi-cabin-toilet-changing room, instead of that central not-so-useful cushion. I would also love some storage space instead of the sink under the seats (the aft sink option is more user friendly, and two fridges are always useful, but not three sinks). Otherwise brilliant boat for my needs. Hopefully see you next season in NL. 😊
Hi Tatiana, that is valuable info, I immediately understand your remarks. I have already spoken to the people at Axopar about this, I'm not sure they will be able to change all these things for modelyear 2025. That is since some involve changing the moulds, which is quite costly. Then again, if you intend to do your boating in The Netherlands or Belgium, we may be able to help you as we are used to doing modifications & upgrades. I hope to see you to, either at the show in Düsseldorf in January, or in our showroom, or on the water!
understood, thanks for your responsiveness! I guess the sink is a bit of a detail, as the tap could just be decommissioned, but the little hatch would have been really useful. And yes indeed I have booked my hotel in Düsseldorf already, I hope I will make it! 😊
I like the higher gunwales, and would like to see them on the standard XC I would also like to see a way to remove the water ski bar, a pin system of sort, that would allow swapping to rear bench seats on the 29. When I purchase one I will probably have this option custom fabricated.
Hi Walter, thank you for your remarks. I'm sure that the people at Axopar are also checking these comments now and then, they alsways want to learn. But a boat is also a compromise. And there's disadvantages to higher gunwhales too. Added weight for example. And more weight means higher fuel consumption. I doubt if they will have an option for a removable ski bar. Strength being the major reason. And from what I've learned, there will be a possibility to have the ski bar and a fold down bench seat at the same time. Keep on following Axopar and us, there's more to come!
Congratulations a buying a Robalo then David! That is also a very nice, good quality brand. Less known in The Netherlands as there isn't an official dealer. But I'm sure your local Axopar dealer would be happy to trade in your Robalo on a 37 or 45 within a few years ;)
@@Kemperswatersport I consider this a leisure boat, not a fishing boat. The back support is low and not comfortable. This is mainly due to the low gun whale, but the cushions seem like and afterthought. Also, the two primary bow seats have no forward facing back rests like other modern center consoles. A simple solution would be fold out(swivel) back rests seen on other boats. During low speed cruising, there really isn't a comfortable bow seat.

I am also tall and I looked at Axopar but ended up buying a Robalo 302 becuase it had higher freeboard and taller TTop.

Cannot understand the logic of the bow area seating. A deal breaker for many.
Can you explain why you don't like it?
