I personally wouldn't change your sound quality. Maybe a better video camera wouldn't hurt, but even that is more than adequate as is. I love the ambiance your videos have. I love how you don't spend every second talking. The pauses in been sentences really relaxes me without sensory overload. Like I'm not staying awake trying to actually know what you're saying. I can actually listen to you without focusing on every word. You're perfect 👍

+Herman Besel How could you possibly find the sound annoying? Are people so audio sensitive and spoiled these days that they can't tolerate a little background white noise? Personally, I find it soothing. Anyway, it's not that bad.
+Rose Silver ASMR I think the quality is deliberate in Lloyd's case... I'm pretty sure he uses retro gear on purpose because it adds a unique, nostalgic aspect and for many it actually increases the effectiveness. It's like a throwback to the old days when there were no intentional ASMR videos.
I kinda hope you never get a better mic, this one is perfect. Also I know you get this a lot but you’re handsome. :)

Did you update your equipment? I know you said you were going to. The sound in this is different but better honestly, its piscking up better. ASMR tingles going insane on some of these newer sounding ones. Not that the old videos were bad but these seem even better.
I would honestly like to request you redo some of the older stuff like the pysychatrist with the more sensitive mic / newer sound. Or maybe make a new psychiatrist video maybe different questions or something. Anyway good stuff keep it up pls/
