Hallelujah is one of my favorite winners and I love Ofra's Hi. Of course, Same Heart was a good song but I wish, more fans would be more interested in some older Eurovision decades.
I can somehow understand that 2005 was a tough competition for shiri but HORA, HI and FIRE IN YOUR EYES were the best entries in thier respective years.. truly unbelievable.
IPBC better join EBU quick. I don't want to see Israel leaving. This year they were my #1 and we want more EDM dance songs in ESC. Israel puts the star in the star of David. Shalom and come back.
Golden Boy came 9th out of 40 (if this was a top 11 the video probabily would have started with Golden Boy) and I Feel Alive was the worst placed entry out of all those which came from the semi-finals this year.
Cam Baxter On UA-cam Israel isn't retiring, only the broadcast authority is changing. There are some problems because the old one, the IBA is the broadcast authority over 50 years, and some people in Israel didn't like the transition to the new one, the IPBC. The IPBC is now trying to be accepted as a member in the EBU so Israel will continue to be part of Eurovision. The future is not clear, but we all hope that Israel will keep be part of the Eurovision Song Contest

I'm glad that you are continuing the top 10's of the winning countries in reverse order. So i'm guess what the next countries are coming are the United Kingdom, Ireland, Italy, Yugoslavia, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, The Netherlands, Monaco and Spain.
Hasheket Shenish'ar was definitely the strongest entry Israel ever sent imo. It's one of the best break-up songs and I still listen to it this day. Beautiful woman and absolutely amazing song. I actually preferred it to "My Number One" that year.
No 4 and no 5 were both 2nd and have the same composer: the guy who sang no 5 ;) Pretty good realising he came 2nd two years in a row and even sang one composition of his own.
Ironically, one of my least favorite entries from this amazing country is the first place of Dana International! But all of the other entries presented here are really amazing!
