- Please join us as Mud Mowers from Hell do a mud mower group ride at West Branch for a pretty steep hill climb. Sam's ride Stiletto ruled the hill climb and did not matter what gear he was in. That thing just ripped. Afterwards we found a little creek crossing and played then packed up and headed back to Sam's for a late afternoon run through whats left of the giant lakes witnessed earlier this year. We also took a run down Marianas trench to see how much water was left.

I've been building mud mowers for 20 years and that stretched front end is a new one to me
Where have you been building mowers at? Stretching is a mid eastern Michigan thing. Most guys in other areas stretch the tractors out a few inches and add weight to the front to obtain the same result as a stretch.

I've rolled em way more then I love to I havnt but as long you react fast you be fine I got one right it haul wheelies an flips if it grips heck just yesterday I rolled it backs an side way few times in the same day in the same area lawn mowers are safer the four wheelers in my mind at least just don't leave decks on the dam things like some idiots do
Brings back some great memories of my sears ss18 twin with a 6 speed trans. Unstoppable.
Gotta love the old tractor memories. Mine is the wheel horse bullet nose that I grew up on.
@@MrStudabaker lol that's my current one. 1976 hydrostatic 12 hp kohler. My brother has the 18 now. They both still run great and do what they were intended to do.👍

Man buddy those are some really bad machines this was one of the most intense mud mower runs I’ve ever seen guys
Thank you Tampa Boys Customs. It was definitely fun to shoot and drive. Oh and measured the hill last Saturday. Its 20 degrees at the apex or 36.4% slope. The length is 100 yards.

Yes sir it's the best test hill to date. The sand and steepness takes a lot of hp to climb and will test your motor. They get real hot.

old video day,..The sandy hill bombs in the beginning are some of my favorite!!
Same. That area has a few more that are a bit longer. The atv trails are mint. Hardly used.

Man stiletto has one mean tractor that predator sounds mean and has some unreal performance now I really want to build a predator when I eventually build my tractor I’m definitely glad I subscribed some really awesome builds here people with mean builds just sending it gotta love it

A lot of nice builds.
I have a SS16 with a predator 11HP, lug tires on the back and snow blower tires up front and was running it around and the clutch was weak so I adjusted it and the first time I really let it out it grabbed all right and the spring supported seat on that suburban compressed and I couldn't get back on the clutch and stood it straight up. I pushed away from it, righted it and from then on we just call it "FLIPPER".
Fun times but not as much fun as you guys had, I have a lot of parts lying around and may have to piece something together just for fun.
Love the name flipper for a tractor. Better get to getting that thing pieced together I could be in your area soon for a ride.

Ride from awhile ago from the looks of it. Looked like a blast. What was the grade % on the sandy hill climb?
It was a good time. Doing another ride there next week. The grade is not like a dune but maybe a 2/3 of it. Good eyes it was two months ago tops.

The one at 2:59 what tires are those they look like a mix between a tractor tread and a sand paddle we have 3 offroad mowers with tractor threads one with a set of wooly booger's all 4 tractors are a blast up there our other 2 have regular turf tires gonna get a set of ATV tires for them as well
Mamba lites from interco. There decent tires but suck real bad going over logs. He has since moved on from them to Gators which are way better. Wooly biggers are nice. They whip up good amount of roost.

"Mud mowers from hell" seems a little over selling what you got here. I can see the mud part, tbh... I see the mower part too. What I don't see is the hell part. You keep doing you man, looks like fun!

Typically seen are 6 on 6 for a good all around trial rig with 26" rear tires. Keizer is all gear.

How do you guys stop your drive belts from slipping, when you are in the mud ?
Run a 7 front and a 5 rear and a 5/8 belt

Good question, officially no, standard fronts are 22.11.8 front max with two sets of rears for various terrains.

All that work and nobody has locked the rear diff.
At that time the cub was the only one locked.
