Rachel is so sweet that she can not even look at a scene where someone is mistreating someone else let alone a brutal scene.
Agreed man....you are right. 🙂
She is really a gentle and honest lady.
The world needs more people like Rachel
Rachel you are the best. You are absolutely right. 👍🏻👍🏻
Rachel ur the best ❤️
instaBlaster.
I see such incidents in London. I once yelled at an English lady and grilled her because she was being very rude to an elderly Indian couple.
Good job💗
That’s the way to be. Always stand up for people who can’t do it themselves
You did a good job....the women shouldn't have yelled at an elderly person
Salute you sr .love from we Indians
Clearly, she was not a 'lady,' just a racist trashbag.
Her name was mentioned in Oscar memoriam last year
yes.. Respect to the Queen "" Sridevi ""
Wth. I must be really living under a rock.
@@z.f.chicken Same here 😂
Oscar bhut badi cheez h kya q angrejo ki gulami kar rahe ho Oscar kuch nhi h uski acting K samne
@@mandolasumit5 stop your shitty mouth. And don't try to speak those shitty talks
Rachel is so sweet. She didn't even saw the whole scene.. This is the sign of a good human being.
This scene was so hard for me to watch in the theater. I can totally relate to this. Things are different in India. I once visited Malaysia on office work and I had a big cultural shock. I went to the cafeteria to eat at the office. There we first need to take all the items we need, and in the end there would be a counter, they check the items you have on the plate and give the bill accordingly and you have to pay. I was a bit confused, I still remember the people behind the counter laughing at me and whispering something, because I wasn't able to figure what to eat, as many food items were totally new to me. I felt really embarrassed and bad. It costs 0$ to be nice. Please be nice to people.
💜
yea :)
We lost this legend “sri Devi” ... my deep condolences ...
Sridevi was India's iconic actress, known as India's first female superstar. She starred in this movie after a 14 year break and the audience just loved it and the movie was one of the biggest box office hits that year. So sad Sridevi is no longer with us. She passed away aged 54 in February 2018 💔
Movie is all about how she struggle in usa without knowing english
Sorry but it is more than that.
I think its more about about inferiority complex
Also about how homemakers are not respected by their own family members
its all about family..nd much more in it.
No it's not about that, it's about liking oneself, protecting one's self esteem and helping yourself...
Usually English actors chosen for Bollywood movies are horrible in their craft....but the fact that this counter women has made people angry so much...speaks a lot about her talent.
Speaking about iconic Sridevi, we are always ready to get heavily emotionally charged , whenever we watch this scene.
Please guys review her movie Mom and Sadma.
She was one of the best actress Bollywood has ever had! She died recently at a young age! Sridevi we miss you!❤
she is from our tollywood
She is one of the best actress from India who hailed southern part and excelled in north part movies.
@@Someone-nj4cn but she's product of Kollywood not potboiler Tollywood that exploited her
I remember my first lunch in the US in the June of 2005. My American boss took me out on my first day at work in the US. We drove to a Subway. My boss ordered his pizza customising it down to the last ingredient, got his food & drink and got to the table. Never having experienced this as a norm at Subway, I thought he was just fussy about what he eats. I grew up in an exact opposite manner and would just eat whatever came standard.
I went over to the counter and ordered a tuna 6" sub. Then the lady making it began asking me a number of questions - which bread, a yes or no for each vegetable, then grilled or not and finally sauces. I actually enquired don't you have something standard?
But neither the folks in the queue behind me, nor the people behind the counter were rude. A bit amused, but not rude.
Nonetheless, it was a cultural shock - all this pressure just to order lunch.
I later saw the movie 'You've Got Mail'. Tom Hanks character describes how it is culturally important for Americans to make decisions - even in trivial things like coffee. Milk or sugar, caf or decaf and tall or large. I now understand why you have such systems and why it is so important to you.
Lol. I mean who has the time to note down exact bloody ingredients, you'd have to be a ginormous douche bag. I just want a sandwich, or a cheese burger or when it comes to subway, when I say a salmon 6 incher with everything you have got, I expect salmon and every vegetable. Giving down exact ingredient, phew, what am I, a chef?

Been there. It was traumatic. I even suggested them on the 2nd visit to have something basic that doesn’t require so much customization.
In that much time, i can make sandwiche myself,!
@tintuu I am Indian myself. Born and raised outside. I used to work part time as a sales person at a department store. One year IIFA was in town and all the people who worked in wizcraft, from director to set workers came to our store. The whole store considered them so rude and a nightmare. Everyone talked about it afterwards. Most of them treated sales people badly and acted like we had no other job than to be at their beck and call FOR HOURS. We found their behavior toward us, the way they spoke to us offensive. Some of the girls were very sweet but that was about it. I didn't know if it was a cultural thing but wanted to tell them so many times I am not sure if this is how shopping works in India but it definitely doesn't work like that here. I get the cultural shock but the other person doesn't know you just came from the plane. Tell them ahead of time if that's why you are struggling. To them you might be the one being offensive by asking to be serviced in a way they deem inappropriate. This doesn't apply to this movie scene of course because clearly there is a language problem and the coffee lady should see that.
This actress was one of her kind. Put her in any role and she used to set a standard with her unbelievably realistic acting.
English is language not a knowledge :-) so don't feel bad if you can't speak "English"
Britishers gave english to india, in return they took away all the wealth including kohinoor diamond.
@@naveeneedara8457 right
A quick reminder that USA was also colonized by Britain for about 195 years and stole million things. It colonized Australia too.
East Indian company destroyed in nrian culture
You are absolutely right.... Why its important
I love that lady in white, she is so humble and soft hearted❤️
Not just the language she was struggling from cultural thing too becoz in India water means just water, coffee means just coffee we don't get different variations of coffee like capachino, latte, expresso etc unless we go to big coffee places like Starbucks or something. "What kind of coffee do u want" well 3rd world countries don't hav options
Well , now we have options !! In big cities !!!!
Who says India is 3rd world country
Yes because her character is such that she is not much educated and always stay at home so she doesn't know this brutal world she is very talented kind hardworking women and but doesn't have any exposer which is story of many middle and lower class society
Yeah..so true...I was about to comment on it...u got the point :)
Yeah dude correct and what the hell is STILL and SPARKLY god!!
The education that a 15 yr troy is getting from these movie reactions is going to help him grow as a gentleman
I for sure know that if troy happen to be behind that lady he surely would have done the same thing the guy did in the movie.
👍
U guys took my heart ❤️
Rachel getting second hand embarrassment is me in these kind of situations 😂😂
Hallmark of a great artist, naunced, highly emotive, ingenious portrayal of a character presented, which Sridevi embodied, unfortunately she was taken away before her time, she remains one of the legendary of actress in India Salute n RIP Sridevi

The legendary Sridevi. No one can be like her. still can't believe she's no more. R.I.P
I love watching your videos! You're such a tight-knit family! Always a pleasure to watch your videos!
Ordering lunch in USA is tough...
Jorden is lit😂😂
"They are the same one who don't learn cursive, what about your multiplication table" 😂😂
when ever i watch this scene , i just cry . Rest IN Peace Sridevi Mam
In US there is different way to communicate like at end of communication you say thank you. In India we are not use to that way. But the level of respect is equal. Just a matter of language.
We smile.
This scene from the movie is very relatable. The exact same thing had happened to my dad and it was just heartbreaking. So I know how she must’ve felt. And NY has the most rudest people in the world periodttt.

But this is what happens in real too
The lady behind the counter acted spot on
Aww Rachel.. you are so genuine
You guys seem to represent a good helpful citizen for you country to Indians. Thank you.

Blimey! Nathan became Sir Nathan! Wicked glasses, man! Love it!
I just love this i am watching this again and again and again.......
I love how Trinity starts singing New Americana by Halsey😂
Sridevi proved her talent as a born actress she nailed it
I suggest you to please watch the climax scene where Sridevi ji speaks fluent English and wonders her family...and spoke about her real life experiences with her husband and daughter....literally worth watching
Trinity, I've got a comment for you! Okay so I watch you guys very closely as I love your reactions and I actually see all of your reactions very closely. It's like now I'm a part of your reaction family as if I'm there sitting with you guys watching all the videos together.
Also let's accept this fact today, out of all Rachel is the most emotional one (P.S - When it comes to Bollywood she understands the complete thing as in she guesses the storyline or the concept most of the times, I suggest whenever you guys don't understand any trailer or any video of Bollywood ask Rachel she'll be the best guess for that very moment.
So, Trinity, I've realized that it's not easy to make you cry and it's completely normal it's your personality and I love it and on the other side Rachel emotional, so I see you reacting when Rachel cries sometimes, so I'm gonna tell you this - Watch this complete movie - English Vinglish - I bet it'll take out all of your emotions and will fill your heart with such joy that you'll end up seeing tears floating your cheeks. :)
I love you guys, this is the first time I'm interacting with you guys but trust me I've been following you guys for a very long time. Also, I would start recommending you more interesting stuff but I really don't initiate as you must be getting a lot of submissions already. So if any of you can be in contact with me in any which ways where I could share the video links it'll be great!
Keep Watching & Keep Reacting! Because I'm also reacting with you guys! :)
Sir,mam,✌😌pls watch this fine masterpiece✌ movie,a true gem of bollywood..I had tears in my😔 eyes looking at this..my all✌💕 time favourite,i had this💙 movie downloaded in my cell phone.. miss 🙏you sridevi mam..💙✌
Something like this happened to me 15 years back at a Subway- my first time ordering the subway sandwich- I had not seen a sub sandwich in my country, the person was not at all helpful, I ended up throwing that Sandwich as I didn’t like mustered 😃
It happened to me in an university town !!!!
I had hard time ordering Starbucks too, I ended up hating Starbucks because of my early years experience
I wish people are more nice
Indeed! I dont go eat outside still due to so many bad experiences on which I can write a book one day. I just order in. I buy products online. This country is really harsh but people like Rachel reminds me that all is not that bad.
English Vinglish is an extraordinary movie
We miss Sridevi ji
You went too soon 😭😭😭
Trinity was so sweet. She got teary eyes while watching the scene. It was a form of bullying someone who has a disability of any kind.
Rachel is the sweetest 😭🤌 Such a nice family, touchwood!!❤️
Is it me or Jordan seems a really cool guy to hangout with. Come to New Delhi my man... we will have a blast...👍👍
She passed away..legend of indian movies...
I don't care what anyone says , Sri Devi will forever be the queen of Bollywood. We are never going to see such talent any time soon.
My 👀 full of tears 😭 while watching this scene
Rachel is so genuine and nice person.
I love u mam... U r a great human
This scene hurt my heart. It made me think of the stories my Mom & Dad told us about when they first came here in '79. It was even more worse back then and in the early 80s

I don't know but people often say that Americans are not so sweet by nature but Rachael is one of the sweetest person i hv ever seen..she is a very lovely woman it seems ❤️
came here as soon as I got the notification
I remember after the movie released, all the women were crushing on Laurent so hard. 😂😂😂
Nathan u r such a good actor
Every time u mimic Jordan it gives a belly laugh 😂😂
Guys u r dng very good reaction these days
When you move countries and have not been confidence in yourself as a woman and than you move into completely new alien system, where you are not able to understand cultural and social intricacies you do feel horrible. I was new , could speak english but it was so overwhelming .. understanding difference between different coffees, different types of water ,so many types of cheese. It is overwhelming and there are people who do treat you as if there are doing you a favour by trying to understand your accent and they role their eyes. My professor felt quick enough to crack indian jokes. So yes there are assholes like this and when you are new and feel insecure, their reaction feels magnified.
This was really a very good 👌 movie. But sadly she passed away in February 2018. SRIDEVI A very beautiful Indian actress
