As a Toronto resident (born and raised) it is a good city to live in but like most places around the world rent and home prices have more than doubled in the last 10 years. Now if you want to buy a home in Toronto you need to be wealthy.
I wish housing was more than just an asset
As a Hamiltonian (ON) this is very reminiscent of my own community and home. A good Victorian brick house is sturdy, cozy, and classy all in one.

And now it became neighbourhood with overpriced houses and snobbish, conceited folks who don't like outsiders and NIMBYs and yet, West of borderline Parliament St. is dirt poor.
