I've talked about Collina Strada in a number of videos at this point, and I always talk about luxury collaborations, so I really wanted to make a video about this very interesting collab. The maximalist aesthetic and sustainability ethics of Collina Strada meet the utility and accessibility of Baggu, and there's a horse girl theme as well for some reason. So let's see!

I have a baggu grocery bag that I keep in my purse, but otherwise have missed the hype on this brand (likely I'm a bit older than their target demo). I love the horse-shaped bags and I really like the hardware. But their regular silhouettes in those prints............ idk, it's not for me. It sort of has a Lululemon-pushed-through-an-AI-generator feel and I'm not feeling it. I do like absurdism, but it's so close to normie that I'm not quite getting there. Horse bag can stay, though.

I totally get that especially when it comes to these legacy houses!! Like let it speak for itself everybody knows you. That being said nobody I know irl knows who or what Collina Strada is so I feel like that’s a good use of branding.
