- I'm gonna be so real with y'all- the major luxury brands and legacy houses just are not doing it for me right now. They are all playing it very safe, very commercial, very basic, so I wanna talk about some unique bags from smaller or up-and-coming designer brands that are really interesting and have something to say.

The Vasso bag is calling out to me. Maybe put some fake (or real lol!) dead flowers in it. Or like, novelty sized pens. Maybe learn magic and pull an endless ribbon out of it. So many options!

I found also interesting the MM6 x Eastpak collab. Especially the one where a eastpak bag is just printed on top of a white canvas. Impossible to wear but genius 😅
Hahaha i love those absurd designs. I think I even had a bag from that collab on my wishlist but it sold out when it went on sale 😭😭😭
That Marine Serre bag is giving me Dark Moon Circus vibes and I like that! This is the bag Chibi Moon would choose when she steals Usagi's credit card and goes on a Dark Lady shopping spree (sorry, that's a deep cut).
The Balenciaga Busy Bag just shows me that Anya Hindmarch was a bit ahead of the curve on this. She had a tote a few years ago that had a ton of pockets on the front with sassy little Hindmarchian labels on them. It looked much more conservative than the Balenciaga, though, and I've found that it hasn't aged that well for me (plus the strap is really dumb and I keep forgetting to sell it).
I love the Vaso bag!! How stupid! I cannot imagine the occasion to wear this, but I want to go there and have ~$700 to pitch into the sun for this one-time carry.

Omg I had no idea about the Anya Hindmarch bag with pockets!! I always kind of credited it to that one niche streetwear style that was like about being hyper prepared. I’ll have to look up the bag you’re talking about!
And honestly I feeeeel like the Vaso bag is slowly climbing on my wishlist hahaha idk i have so many practical bags and I think a statement would be pretty affordable for that number, right?? Idk 😬😬😬 we’ll see lol

I just got an Innerraum bag and I LOVE it. Hardware is rubber, metal snd these ratcheting adjustible straps. A lot of focus on rubber, nylon and industrial hardware. Lean masculine have a Y2K futuristic vibe overall
I’ve been so curious about innerraum for so long. They kind of remind me of like a car crash or a gundam or something. Tbh that vibe feels sooo right for this summer. Color me a bit jealous 😬

Yeah that’s the bag I was thinking about!! Honestly I know the superbusy messenger has been around for at least a year or so but I think we can chalk it up to the utilitarian trend that’s been around because of that one niche streetwear style that’s about like having so many pockets lmao

It really depends on how you wear a bag. If you dress basic even the most unique bag gets lost in translation. I like your choices(& that Diesel🔥)
I do love the idea of an Amish woman carrying a crazy bag tho
