Amazing tutorial! Everytime you dive in and play with the modulators a new world opens. Would be interesting to see, how you transfer the clips into an arrangement.
Love the idea of using Stepwise as an advanced arp. It's probably going to become a favourite technique for me. I always find arpeggiators kind of boring unless I use random, and then they have no musical pattern at all. This technique provides complexity while still providing some musical constraints.

Yeah it's a (simple but powerful) game changer for sure! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏻
It may not matter... but I feel like having your serial number for Bitwig on screen is probably a bad idea.

THANK YOU! 🙏🏻 WHOOPS hahaha I have since removed the section with it in :) P.S. Ironic that the fastest growing video I've done yet is the one that I leave me fookin' serial up in
I just loaded up Bitwig and couldn't even get the stem to line up with the midi extracted from it. In Ableton it just lined right up, but instead in Bitwig it is longer than the source it was derived from. Why/how?
I really like what you are doing in the beginning with the drums with the randomness stuff. My problem is that when everything is tied to the modulators I don’t know how you could also still use it manually for breaks. For example the pitch shifter, I would like to have more (constant) of it during breaks. I know you can automate the amount of modulation, but it this case it should apply on which notes the amount is applied and I think this is simply not possible? Hope this makes sense.

You don't HAVE to the modulator always. You can use it as a unified "lift" so to speak and then keep it low and manually automate specific parameters when you want granular control of elements. You can also create SUB macros (i.e. at group level or track level) so that you can control little, medium and large amounts of the project.
How can devices that are *literally* imitations of decades old drum samples be a 'game changer'? 🙃 Or is this the only way to generate views these days? I guess it worked. I popped in here solely to ask this question 😂
Unsubscribed due to clickbait titles. Wish you well in your journey sir

@sub-jec-tiv I knew this would happen eventually. Amazing to see how many more views the videos get using "SEO optimized" titles and thumbnails. This video did 10x the views it would have had I named it like I used to... "Playing around with the new drum machines" or some shit like that. Personally, if you're irritated enough by how I named the video that you then choose to throw away all the value I actually share IN the videos I spend hours creating, we're probably not meant for each other anyway.
Yeah well honestly i’ve not learnt anything new in any of your videos so that’s the real reason. I’m not saying that’d be true for younger people/beginners of course. Just my experience as a professional of several decades
the real game changer would be 1) to fix the clip launcher sync developer error simce V1 2) to go back to the old browser 3) to have clip envelopes that weren't akward to 4) actually have real feedback loops 5) less bloat and trash, bells, whistles but more time spent on effeciency
Bloody brilliant creation here, Alex. Fun and glitchy grooves! (P.S. I finally jumped in on that GRID Course! Cheers )
Thanks man, glad you like it! Hope you enjoy the GRID course! ❤️

Brilliant, as usual, thanks Tâches! hats off
Cheers! Glad you enjoyed it 🙏🏻

Cheers! Glad you enjoyed then 👍
yeah, the Bitwig walkthrus are fantastic. I love watching someone who does things so much differently than I typically do.
another brilliant video from the legend
Thanks, appreciate you! 🙏🏻
i'm just waiting here for the official branch of the v 5.3.
these new drum synths could be very useful.
Me too! They're very fun but I never want to make too much on the beta versions

Can you play your notes in realtime?
wizard
You're a wizard Harry
Enjoyed it. If only I could figure out what you are doing. haha
You and me both! 🤣
Good on you Tache for getting the geniuses in here to argue that the new drum devices are NOT a game changer.
They must have loved the old ones.
The Oxford dictionary defines “game changer” as…. 🤓
How can devices that are *literally* imitations of decades old drum samples be a 'game changer'? 🙃

It sure is! Thanks for the click and comment 🙏🏻
No worries mate! I do watch your videos tho because you're an awesome teacher, so keep it up! 💪🏻
