I just love the new old tsitsipas... this is his original mentality and not the relaxed zombie he used to be during the last 3 years.. Bring the anger back and break everything on sight! Let's fucking GO!
👍👍👍
Both players played unbelievable
What? Struff played good 1st set then turned in to error machine lol. He played awful 2nd and 3rd set . 3rd set was just pathetic
Lots of highs and lows - both players got broken several times, but then played some amazing volleys and clutch serving at other times. A roller coaster.
What a demanding clash. There was everything in this showdown. Nerve, temperament, aggressiveness, quality, versatility, exquisite shots and magical hits.
Respect Stefanos, this was a tough one. You fought like a warrior. Congrats.
In fact go out there and revel in the tough ones. Desire the discomfort. Enjoy it. Makes you tougher.
Great win Tsitsipas.super happy for you ❤
So proud of you Stefanos Tsitsipas. What an amazing victory for Stef ❤ Bravo
Lezgooooooo Stefanos! Props to Struff - he's a great clay courter.
Keep going Stef. We love you... your fans supporting you.
Struff has quarter finals roland garros level. Wishing him the best
I always pull for him - no drama, just smacking it.
Dude is a dark horse in any clay tournament, it's never easy to play him
Yes and I am rooting for him but not against my favs😅
Maybe even better, who knows?
Wow, I didn't expect this, it really means something to Stef, a boost.
Grande Stefanos!!! Tanti applausi!!!👏👏👏
Stefanos and Paula breaking up seems to have revitalized both of their careers.
Did he not win Madrid while they were together
@@notgreggg2321Monte Carlo
He meant both of their careers. Badosa is finally getting consistent and racking up the wins as well.
They had injuries. That's why it was a tough year
@@bre7342back injuries I'm sure lol
breaking a racket after only one game played must be a record.
2nd best of all time. The ultimate world record holder is Carlos Berlocq, broke racquet after just 2 points on his serve.
😂
@@ToomcioZioomcio lmaoooo
He was definitely holding onto some residual anger from their last match.
@@buddhistandthemoney1or from the breakup with Badosa.
Struff continuing to impress. I don't think anyone would like to face him in the early rounds of RG.
Love watching Struff lately
Dude got tough break up. But he got better of it. Keep on Tsitsi !!!
Not gonna lie this game had a lot of other good points that were excluded from these highlights and i cant say i undertsand why
Nonetheless amazing game from both and good luck to Stephanos for the rest of the tournament
🥇
Bro's stamina is back! which is understandable after a year or two with Badosa!
LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣 But yeah you're not wrong there. He can't be blamed at all during his time with her.
Exactly.
One of the most strange and incompatible relationships ever. It was a waste of time and energy for both of them.
Lmao dude was being drained
@@nikhils2381 Yep, just blame the broad.
So much emotion!
Hm... should I say - 'he was just expressing himself'? It works on Shelton.
Great match.
Let's go Stef!
Well done Stef,Struff probably the strongest and toughest opponent on the Tour, facing him in 2 round, especially on clay.
Since the middle of the 2 set Greek was the better player and won most of the rallies of Struff's second serve, but the German did well, the first serve and some unbelievable shots kept him into the match.
P.S.Haven't seen Stefanos being so nervous and concentrated during the match for years now,a good sign.
🥇
To bad for Struff, this was his last chance to be seeded at the French open. If he faces any of the top seeds in the first round, well, good luck to them 😁
Nobody wants to play Struff in their first round at RG.
0:20 Badosa rage
😂
😂😅😅
Bravo Stefane 🤒
Wow, never seen zizzi so electrified
Great game, Stefanos 👍
Struff came certain for the win. He was not counting on one thing. Stefanos does battle. He is a fighter. Go on Stef. The Rome crowd wants you to win 😊😊😊
Dude was blowing Paula’s back out, no wonder she was always injured 😂
Always happy a player with the more stylish game wins.
Struffi could not conserve his great form in the last set, unfortunately. First time Tsitsipas beat Struff on clay after 2 losses.
Prime Tsitsi > prime Struff
though
@@monstermagnet3150obviously
@@monstermagnet3150 nope
@@HaleG9 Yep of course
@@RoadToPerdition9825 well, I get that there are lots of TsiTsi fanboys out there. As an objective spectator, still: nope. Struff has outplayed Tsitsipas often times, not because Tsitsipas had a bad day, but because if Struff gets his act done, he is superior in the direct comparison of playing styles. Like it or not.
Just remember do not tic off Tsitsipas when he has a racquet in his hand!😱🙀 Tsitsipas is 6’ 4” tall!😮
Best match of the year
👏👏💪💪🎾🏆🙏🙅😘♥️Felicitaciones ❤
These highlights are too short
Struff è davvero forte
Damn, I wanted Struff to win that!
Hes an animal in clay
Struff should have served and volleyed a lot more. Really upset that he didn't.
I really don't think Stef is handling the break up very well. His head was all over the place and that lost opening game where he smashed his racket into the barrier was very telling of how gutted he was with the break up. And the emotional outpour after the win was indicative that he needed it to help forget all about it.
Could also be that Stef's never beaten Struff on clay and having to play Struff as his first match in Rome was pretty hairy. But now Stef's got a good shot at the title.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Bravo!!
Frkn crazy 😮😊
❤❤❤
Tough draw for Stef, big win, next Cameron.
Tsitsipas needs to break with his parents.
Time to grow up and take some hard decisions.
In reality, he breaks the relationship with Badosa.
Tsitsipas is unstopabble
With Nadal they are by far the strongest on clays
Stef is incredibly strong this year with his titles and finals and Nadal is close to the level also
Umm, Nadal lost to Hurkacz 1:6 3:6 before your comment, by the way. Sorry to tell you that.
But yeah, Stef has chances. As long as someone doesn't expose his backhand...
anyone know when is paula tsitsipas playing ?
Who else is hoping for a meeting between Sissypas and Medvedev in the Quarter finals...??🤣😌
They don't meet each other. The quarter final match will be Tsitsipas against Rublev/Jari
@@user-pw7hu4rm7f
😒😞
Tsitsipas being very meek at the net. Still managed to pull it out.
Great comeback.
Stefanos seems to
Have more
Energy now!! 😂😊😅
At near past, Badosa took his energy a lot. 😂😅
I think the breakup came to his favour 🤣
Well, Badosa seems to be doing fine as well so it was good for both of them
What was the comment about the volley!? @2:11
Everything in action hehe
Bien Stefanos más vale pajaro en mano que ciento volando enhorabuena por la victoria....😁😁😁🤗👏🏽‼️
Actually it’s not semi-final or final match 😅
So what happened after he smashed his racquet and almost destroyed the towel box??! 😳 Did they have to replace it? Any penalty against Tsitsipas??
Si.. Si.. Pasa.... Pasooo, pero enojadooo.. 😳
😂 saludos y muy buena esa.
@@felixfrancoabrazo Felix 😀👍
Wishing Struff won
Such a shame for struff, he broke himself twice
Ofbthey only thought Tsitsi how to play the slice
Come on
It's too late for Tsitsi to learn the double handed backhand?
Haha! Yes it’s very much to late.
I grew up playing golf. One time, at about 14 years old, I hit a bad shot and slammed my club down in some tree roots and the shaft snapped. At that moment I realized that I had no $$$, so I would have to admit what I did to my parents and then they fix it. I was ashamed and felt kinda stupid. I never did that again. Nowadays, these spoiled brats do this kind of childish behavior all the time in their 20's and 30's. They should make stronger rules against it...
The difference is, they have the money so they can afford it. :D
Come on Mr Apostolos, give your son a break . Can't you see that you are holding him back? Everybody else does
You can tell some of the choices that Struff makes are still , sort of novice , & Tsitsipas used his experience & angles to defeat him. But, if the correct coach gets a hold of Stuff , he may be another star of tennis..!!
Struff is 34, I don't think he's going to be the next big star anymore, lol. but he's always a threat to the top 10 despite his age, especially on clay
Tsitsipas working the Italian crowd breaking the racket - probably helped gain a few fans!
Dude celebrated like he won the trophy 😂
This was his main challenge before quarters so yeah
first time he won against Struff on clay...
Out of anyone in the draw - Stef got the toughest first match opponent in Struff.
Dude has been loosing a lot during the last year and a half 😅😅 thats why
Ich denke weil, Struff schwerig ist. 😈
Is Lennard a men name???
Spoiler block
I wish struff won
stefanos will win the rome
Struff forgot to take his 💊 💊
Resumen muy flojo
First
A lot of chances for Struff, but ….
Great match...!
Le fis à papa va perdre un jour.
Il faut encore casser quelques raquettes ...
ok nice, now send him the bill and a fee for the broken stand
kriege immer kotzkrämpfe wenn ich stefanos vater sehe
MGTOW
he should be lose
Tsitsipas can play and all, but how immature do you have to be to destroy a racket first game?
Tsitsipas losing it lol... angrily he smashes his racquet while thinking of what could have been with Paula 😭😭
Oh my how do you know what he is thinking?
@@RoadToPerdition9825 What silly question is this? I read his mind - how else would I know what he is thinking?
@@ricklee5845 Silly question to silly comment. How simple is that? Even you can comprehend it.
@@RoadToPerdition9825 Don't get fresh with me snowflake, I'm starting up my flame thrower!
Hard for me to like Stef when he’s smashing racquets in the first game
Then you don’t like Medvedev, Djokovic and so many others.
How he survived every round playing like that?
Tsitsipas is such a chump.
What a toddler the Greek is….pffff
Tsitsipas blows goats!!! 😂😂
Should have been defaulted after the first game, no place for that
Damn. Again a tough match, which STRUFF would have deserved to win. Like last week against Alcaraz in Madrid. Sad
No one is entitled to win unless they win. What is this?
@@RoadToPerdition9825 If I dont know the difference between "to deserve" and "to be entitled".
Tsitsipas should be disqualified in that match
No
Ha ha ha
Tsitsipas didn't even for getting a warning destroying the back of the court and nearly hitting the ball girl. Novak would have been given a game default at the very minimum. No consistency in refereeing.
The greek celebrated like he has just won a calendar gran slam
Incredible game - and very lucky winer 😂👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Lucky? He played well
@@bre7342 Today playing with Rafa is for everyone lucky day - that's what I meant
Haha- no grace at all, get Federer back, he's still the most respectful player, better than Bratovic and Cacksitpas!
Tsisipas sounds like a Giros. Most arrogant player after the russian war lovers.
ATP should have a rule that each player can only bring two racquets to court, you smash one then you have only to use.
that would be an idiotic rule
What happens if racket breaks from normal play or the string in 2 rackets breaks? Need to forfeit match? Or if they need to change rackets because rackets performance has gone down due to tension loss or something?
Stefanos losing it on the 1st game
