At highest skill level people like this are rare. But at the tryhard level like Diamond/Master it is common. Possibly because they have invested so much time into the game and not gotten very far and so are salty about it.
You forgot about Tod, he always acts like this when losing even after so many years, Blade is also an asshole most of the time
That is one valid point. The other valid point is that anyone who's committed enough to actually rage at this game knows Grubby's akas, and knows he's streaming. That's a big deterrent for trash talk.
And they know the can get away with the bullshit cause they are on no one's stream
You are 100% accurate. Back in the day when I would meet Grubby on ladder - nothing would work, I had practiced so much - yet my best strategies would not work. When this happens to you - you have 2 choices: be salty or analyze why you lost and try to improve.. Being salty is however easier and comes naturally.. hence why so few PROs and so many tryhard flamers :)

Not even the salt, I can understand if someone is salty a bit like ToD, but he was smug already when he thought he has the lead. The worst offendesrs are those who flame you when they win. In the end of the day if someone is salty he still lost the game, you got a win and he get to flame you a bit, you can call it a win win. But when you get beaten by a flamer who use every moment left in the game to rub it in that just feels bad man, without any silver lining.
