For gessoing the sketchbook - How long should I wait for the Gesso to dry before I can draw on it?
That’s a great question! It should dry in 10-20 minutes depending on how thick it’s applied. Best of luck to you! 💜💜

I love the red, it’s a strong look. The gradient of ink is gorgeous and the one-colour old photo is a great idea. Limiting something can take some pressure off too. The flowers and landscape are also gorgeous.
I really love the segments on how to fill your sketchbook and I liked the paint with me video as well. I also enjoy watching you create eyes-you make very pretty eyes.

i think this is one of your best sketchbook ideas i have seen from you. I especially like the brown landscape and the last with the blocks and splashes. I cant imagine coming up with yet other ideas your so creative. Keep it up and stay safe
As I watched watched this video I was reminded of my youth and I could not afford to buy good paper. There was no online shopping and only 1 art supply store in town! I did ask for and received watercolor books and heavy weight sketchbooks. I then had good paper to work on! I cut out sheets sometimes before I even started this is how I used my blank art books! I still have yet to create a complete sketchbook like so many UA-camrs, but that is Ok. I enjoy watching you create videos of yours. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us. Thank you! This is just what I needed. I just got 4 new sketch books (yes, I said 4; white, black, grey & tan). The black one is only suitable for paint because for some reason they made the pages shiny, but the others are for practicing drawing people and scenery for a kid’s book I wanna do. These ideas will help me dive in without getting too intimidated by all those blank pages.

These are my absolute favorite types of videos! There are so many times when I want to spend all day in my sketchbook but I haven't the foggiest of ideas what to put in there. I would love more of these! =)

I love when you do videos like this so keep them coming! Always inspirational and creative. Plus, I get way too excited when you whip out that gold pen. Love the framing embellishments! Regarding markers: No matter what paper I use, I end up with ugly streaking. Maybe it's the pens? I use Kingart brush pens.

I am a new artist and I'm trying to find a feel for art supplies do you request and beginner watercolors? Preferably less expensive? I'm a new subscriber and I love your videos
Hey !!.. I'm an artist too and I really want to help! :) .. don't get art supplies that are ment for begginers cuz they're usuallu a really bad quality and you won't get the feel for that medium .. instead go for student grade art supplies with a good lightfast quality .. personally I use art supplies from a brand called mont mart .. it's pretty affordable and it has excelent quality.. hope I wasn't too long :)

I'm using an Illo sketchbook. The paper is pretty thick. 😀
