We really liked Dubrovnik! The coordinates to the viewpoint can be found in our blog under 2. Take In Views From Fort Lovrijenac: www.worldwildhearts.com/post/dubrovnik-croatia We just mapped it on Google Maps and then walked up the stairs / roads to the viewpoint from the Old Town

I have to say, yours is by far the best, you mention things that are not the standard top ten, your fiming and narration are top notch and the three tips at the end are great advice. Dubrovnik was attacked twice by the Orthodox once in the early 19th century (Russians & Montenegrins) and again in the late 20th century (1991) by Serbs and Montenegrins. Both times they failed to breach the walls but were content to pillage and loot the surrounding countryside.
Very hard to predict! We had the most beautiful weather… around 20-25C and sunny for the 2.5 weeks we were there. But our hosts also told us we were lucky as it can be more rainy… every year is different
@@zelimir1002 population of dubrovnik was always croatian. and the language was croatian language what writers like ivan gundulic or rudjer boskovic proof, also the documents of arab traveller al-idrissi in the 12. cenutry who describe dubrovnik people as croatian STOKAVICA is croatian, serbian language didnt even exist back then, serbs poke TORLAKIAN (bulgarian) until 1851 also dubrovnik has european architecture and was always european while all of serbia and montenegro has clear middle eastern architecture and culture since serbs are more related to middle eastern then to europeans, unlike croats who are clear europeans.

Yes we did!
@@worldwildhearts how’s the weather ? will be there 14-18 October was worried with the rain :)
Very hard to predict! We had the most beautiful weather… around 20-25C and sunny for the 2.5 weeks we were there. But our hosts also told us we were lucky as it can be more rainy… every year is different
@@worldwildhearts thanks for sharing I will take the risk
Beautiful it’s BUT way too crowded. October in the city feels like summer with the hot weather and the crowd.
Really? We also visited at the end of October last year and it was soooo quiet 😅
definitely recommend renting a yacht for the day to explore more beaches and caves you wouldnt be able to access with just a kayak 😊
That's a great idea!
What is the name. Of the song in the intro?
You can find all the names of the songs we used in the description below the video! They’re in order
♥
How many days do I need?
At least 3 days we think!
I'm going for the first time in June
Hope you enjoyed your time!

Schengen works for Bosnia ?
No it’s not part of the Schengen zone. When we visited, neither was Croatia. Only since last January they joined the Schengen area
How much is for cable car? Please?
I think it's 15€ one-way or 27€ round-trip (for adult)
@@worldwildhearts Thank you.

Thanks for watching!😁
Wery important -all buildings in Dubrovnik have made by Venezia state in past centuries.
Remember this.
How is it so calm when you went there lol?😅
It was the end of October! It was very very calm and we had the best time 😍
Great but overexpensive city
Well, fun fact (that Croatia not mentions to tourists) is: - Dubrovnik was never part of Croatia until ww2 😁
Yes it was a small free state for so long! They explain all of that during the free walking tour ☺️
@@zelimir1002 population of dubrovnik was always croatian...all popular writers declare themself as croatian
@@zelimir1002 population of dubrovnik was always croatian. and the language was croatian language what writers like ivan gundulic or rudjer boskovic proof, also the documents of arab traveller al-idrissi in the 12. cenutry who describe dubrovnik people as croatian
STOKAVICA is croatian, serbian language didnt even exist back then, serbs poke TORLAKIAN (bulgarian) until 1851
also dubrovnik has european architecture and was always european while all of serbia and montenegro has clear middle eastern architecture and culture since serbs are more related to middle eastern then to europeans, unlike croats who are clear europeans.
@@kingovic15 Dubrovnik writers never wrote about any Croatian history subject. But always about Serbian. Why is that?
@@kingovic15 as for Dubrovnik writers like Rudjer Boskovic, Ivan Gudnulic etx...they were not Croats. They were of Serbian parental origin, but they considered themselves to be "Dubrovnicani".
And they refered to Croats as foreigners in Dubrovnik in their novels. And main focus of their literal work were events from Serbian epic traditions....i.s. Kosovo battle, killing of turkish sultan, serbian medieval knights and heroes etc.

That one price of 30 to just walk in Dubrovnik screams tourist trap to me.
