Thanks a lot for making this video, helped me out a ton with confusion regarding past papers and the current yearly
You're welcome, glad to hear :)
God bless you Madam and your language is very cheerful for our hearts.thnks
Thank you so much Muhammad. May God bless you too :)
omg , thank youuu
Hi mam! Can you make a video to guide me about the syllabus of 9093 that is to be used for the exams in 2024?
Is Oct/nov paper 12 2021 (reading) applicable to todays syllabus change in 2022? or i look at the recent 2022 ones idk
Thanks m8. I'm transferring from a different board to Cambridge, and the difference between 9093 english and ICSE english is enormous. Our entire english literature syllabus last year was 5 poems and 5 short stories, of which we had to study four each. I think you can probably see the difference based on that itself. How do I rapidly scale up my English level to match this board?
I would suggest getting a tutor to mark your past papers for you. That really helped me out. Then just do as many past papers as possible
You mentioned that I need to be familiar with:
The linguistic elements and literary features of texts:
Parts of speech
Word classes
Vocabulary
Figurative language
Phonology
Morphology
Rhetorical devices
Voice
Aspect
Tense
Modality
Narrative perspective
Word ordering
Sentence structure
Paragraph- and text- level structure
Formality / informality of tone
Pragmatics
The significance of audience in both the design and reception of texts
The ways in which genre, purpose and context contribute to the meaning of texts
I don't really know what those are, is there a video or site of yours where I can learn about them?
I don't have any content covering these topics unfortunately, but there is a lot around if you just do a quick Google search!
is it possible to give whole a levels in two months?
What's text level structure?
Heyo, thanks for the comment. Text level structure is essentially just top-level structure. There are four main organizational patterns, or top-level structures, that occur mostly in factual texts: compare/contrast, cause/effect, problem/solution, and list-like. If you do a quick google there's loads of information on it :) Hope this helps
Can someone help me with 9093 paper 1 may/june 2021 question 2 please 😭😭😭
Hey, thanks for the comment :) Are you looking to analyze a text?
