Could you please tell whether its necessary to add linguists and their theories in the language change question in paper 3, A2? and if so who are the most important ones that I can learn about? is there any trick to help me remember as to which linguist can be added in a particular language framework? May I ask how universities view private candidates? They want to see your history of how you studied for the last 3 years, how can you show this if you are a mature person with a gap of several years, even if you passed the a-levels exams as a private candidate? I mean, if someone wants to go to some good university in the USA or the UK, it will work, or they won't actually accept such a person? I know that its like normal A level exam, but they additionally required to submit a transcript.

Anyone considering iGCSE in the UK don't do it. There are very few places to sit exams and those that are available charge between 300 and 400 pounds per exam.
