Thanks for the post and the pix. I've now got my four Fatar keyboards in their cases. Will remove from cases and start my keycheek project soon thanks to your posting!! Then it's off the start the console. All electronics and software work splendidly!! Cheers....
Looking good for its scope. :-) I'm looking at the problem of a two- or three-manual (C2-C7) and pedal (probably C2-G4) console with all-mechanical couplers (as improved for recent-build tracker organs), probably Harris live drawknob switches for function selection, and I haven't decided what momentary switches for all keys. Any resources to recommend for the mechanics of my project, in initial planning as of December 2013?
That sounds like a problem for the hauptwerk.com forums... I have no idea; I will eventually add couplers, but not mechanical. Frankly, I don't see why you would do that (very complicated) other than aesthetics. But hey - why not? After all, it is YOUR project! And I for one support you anyway. :) I'm just a KISS kind of guy. :p
Thanks! :) I'm working on a console for the organ at the moment, and will post a video of it when finished. And perhaps do a re-recording of the piece which I didn't play that well in the video (a bit fast and a few errors here and there). Do check out my website, especially if you dream of having your own pipe organ. It can be a reality!!! :)
PLEASE NOTE: If you have any questions, PLEASE email me (contact info at my website). That way I'll be able to answer you faster. It's not often I check my inbox here on youtube. :) I love to help, so don't hesitate to contact me. Via email. ;)
Nah, I used M-Audio Keystation 61 ES for the keys. Just removed the plastic cases and installed in a wooden frame-stair-thingy. Check out my website, it's all there. :)
Beautiful playing, and you are a master wood craftsman!
A very nice presentation, so helpful to anyone wanting to build a VPO

Lefébure Wély - Andante, opus 122, no.5 is the piece played.
Good Job !!
Contragulations!!
What is the music playing in the video?
What keyboards did you use and how did you modify them to fit the key cheeks?
M-Audio Keystation 61 (discontinued). No modification needed.
excelent!
the greatest difficulty was making the pedal right?

may i ask "what's the title of the music you use in this vdo clip"?
Expand the comment below the video. ;)

Thanks! It still works. :)
@Tomr971 : Read the video description. :)
"The music is the Andante nr 5 opus 122 by Lefébure Wély"
PS: read the description for the video for the URL to my website.
@LieblichGedeckt8 please refer to my website for ALL the details. :)
@Redskinno1 : That will take some time, I'm afraid... But I am still working on the cockpit, although VERY slow. :)
Wow, awesome!!!!! :D Did you buy the keys, or did you make them yourself?

Cool!
I have not the pedal :(
If I tried to build something like this, it would look like a soapbox derby car that ran off the edge of a cliff.
@LieblichGedeckt8 : I used reed switches and magnets. Check out my website, it's all there. :)
Read the video info... ;)
@The1Yves : Neither did I, but I did it anyway! Get off your butt and do it! :)
