  • Unlike traditional vinyl ground channel for skirting; ours is made of galvalum. This prevents holes in your skirting from weed-eating. It is rust resistant and will last years longer than any vinyl product on the market. This product comes in a variety of colors to match your home.

    Nice product, but by attaching to the mobile home at the top you eliminate the expansion process caused during cold weather causing it to buckle at the top. You should attach the skiting to the bottom rail leaving the top to only be held down by the cover installed allowing for expansion

    Sir I removed my old little gutters added a rubber Carlise Roof and put regular gutters. Had to jack up trailer from were piers had sank over the years. Roofing guy said since still could see daylight along edges of sides at base were it mets gap between floor and underpinning he filled bottom edges of siding in with caulk. Does that trap moisture in walls? Been three year and no weak walls, floors or ceilings. Were the ridges on siding just built for strength? No video addresses this issue.

    i fringed when he screwed the panels in, that vinyls has to be able to expand and shrink during temperature changes. looks good now bot wait till temp changes and that shit will be buckled out!

      The skirting never buckled and that is installed to code in South Louisiana. When you leave the top unscrewed on a coastal area you will always lose skirting

    DONT EVER screw your skirting panels to your home. They have to be able to expand and contract with weather change.

      The web site www.skirtingarmor.com/ is no longer any good. I did a search for the store phone number and came up with www.marksmobilehomesupply.com/ but their web site does not show this product. Just an FYI.

    why would you put the guard on that nasty trailer skirting you spend all that money and all that time putting that goes all the way around that trailer when it would have taken you what maybe 30 minutes to wash the skirting and maybe put a new paint on it before you put the guard on

    Anyone can buy coil stock and break the metal! Also, water will run down skirting and thru holes! You're a scammer! People, if your skirting is that damaged, buy new skirting! Don't waste good money on this crap!

    • @roofingoftexas2017
      @roofingoftexas2017 2 роки тому +1

      What are you talking about? If you don’t know what your talking about keep your mouth shut. It’s not coil stock for one, for two it’s 26 gauge Galvalume that you can’t bend on your cheap Break. I do not sell this product anymore but my brother does at the store he bought from me. If your going to have an option at least know what the heck your talking about!

    would the water fall behind that and then get under the trailer?

      Same thing applies to the bottom channel. Rain hits, slides down and goes through the holes in the bottom rail in ground dirt.
