Hey Joe, appreciate this introduction, I was not aware of this coming out, will have to look into getting it. I am currently reading through the Institutes by Calvin, doing this on a year long reading plan, and really enjoying it. I think it’s started a life long passion for systematics in addition to my other reading.
Thanks again for your preview here and all your content, it’s very well done!

As someone who enjoyed, was challenged by, and in the end largely agrees with Kingdom Through Covenants, I've been waiting for this to release.
As for favorite Systematic? Has to be Bavinck. Though I'm still more in the Biblical Theology camp.

Good word and thanks for sharing. And I love Bavinck too.
As for a reply, this Systemic takes all of its cues from Biblical Theology. Hopefully as you get into it at some point you will see that a proper (intratextual) biblical-theological framework does not work against biblical theology but builds upon, complements, and enhances its conclusions.
Thus the relationship between an (intratextual) biblical-theological framework that arises truthfully and naturally from the text and biblical theology are not a this or that relationship. But a this and then this relationship; and serves and celebrates the other. (When you get the systematic check out pages xvi & xvii in the introduction to see in brief what Wellum says about it).

Excellent video! I’ve been earnestly looking forward to this edition. I’m currently a student at SBTS and this volume will be our textbook for Systematic Theology 1 in a couple of months! Do you happen to know for sure if this is a sewn binding or glued? I’m debating whether to get it in print or on Logos.

Thanks for the comment and sharing.
As to your question: The pages are in signatures and it is a sewn binding. Looks like it will hold up quite well. Very glad they made that choice over just gluing the pages in. And my very best to you as you continue through your SBTS journey!
