Considering how....silent Lettuce's little dance is, I can only assume whoever was in charge of sound effects screwed up/forgot to add the tak tak tak sound to her castañuelas.
I actually really like how gave more detail to their attacks so we can see how they fully work. But Pudding's new suit being a dress instead of a onesie feels so iff. And Lettuce's leotard/swimsuit becoming bloomers in here feels strange to see also
@@SaveMeMoon That is a very fair point. I guess the older design just naturally made more sense to me since she's based on a marine animal and aquatic elements such as water and the swimsuit tied into her whole sea theme.
The recent Sailor Moon and PreCure series’ have the same soundtrack composer. It does get a bit tiring sometimes but there are some really good pieces of soundtrack.
Lettuce and maaaybe Ichigo is the only one who got upgraded. Purin has more oomph in the OG. Mint has more elegance. Don't get me started on ZaCross Pure. That eye sequence is brilliant!
@@jamesrian1578They literally did? The new anime was made to follow the manga more closely while also expanding on the original characters, which it did beautifully. I sometimes wonder if any of you nay sayers read the manga or watched the new adaptation the way you complain.
You could literally say Yes Precure 5 Gogo ripped off TMM instead, since that anime came first, but obviously not because that's ridiculous. Please do your research and delete this comment.

Lettuce was a 13yo in a bathing suit, Ikumi probably saw how that was a bit problematic when she made the redesigns.

To be honest, it wasn't that bad at all.
Curiously, only Mint and Zakuro wields real weapons (Bow and Whip), as Ichigo, Lettuce and Pudding actually wields musical instruments as weapons.
You could also see Mint's weapon as a harp, due to the strings and with a bit more imagination you could interpret Zakuro's weapon as a microphone.
