i definitely like Zakuro & Lettuce new version transformation. Purin new version is so so. Some I like part of her old version, some I like the new version so It's half half for Purin. I definitely like Ichigo and Mint old version transformation though. Especially Mint. Her new transformation is such a downgrade from her old one.

OG was still the best, the new ones had way too much angles & unnecessary cuts, while the original has much smoother animations and scene transition.

Sadly due to that the 4kids dub of Tokyo Mew Mew was pure CRAP this New 2022 Reboot of it will likely never get a English version either.

Why i feel the Original more cute and Elegant than the new version. And it's weird to see Ichigo with not her pink hair, i mean at least with that pink hair her friends, family, or BF not will recognize her with easy😅

I really appreciate mew mew zakuro new design but for the other it's such an downgrade like why they all have massive bow on their necks. And why did they didn't keep lettuce old outfit like she is literally a marine animal like she is supposed to swim in a dress. Same with Kiki she used to have a short and not a skirt like it's weird. She is a monkey with all this change 😅

Lettuce and maaaybe Ichigo is the only one who got upgraded. Purin has more oomph in the OG. Mint has more elegance. Don't get me started on ZaCross Pure. That eye sequence is brilliant!

A little curious about the hair colors here. The manga colors all had them with bright colorful hair, which they maintained in the old anime, but they got duller, more realistic colors for their normie forms. But now the normie hair is carried over to the magical girl forms too? I don't get it?
